Worst customer service. The advisor, Kyle, returned my call once in a 3-week period only after the supervisors were involved. They charged me $200 for a diagnosis because they "had to pull mechanics for the job"...aka plug an OBD scanner to get a code. I'll never take my car back.

Bought a new Ford F150 today, worked with salesman Ryan Ferry who did a great job for me and made the deal hassle free for me. Can not say how pleasant finance manager Jason Kelsey was and explained everything to me. Best dealership I have have been to in many years

Well...I bought the car from Palmetto in November of 2019, the sales department was very helpful and worked with me, then the Frustrated On Road Daily occurred shortly after the 2 year anniversary. I was still under warranty so I was able to get the oil changes no problem, but when I needed the actuator repaired well that was a problem. The first and second time was "fixed" and it was fine, then year 3 and a half came so I needed my actuator repaired. Made the appointment online, it was noted but you want me to leave the car for a week! Well, no thanks guys since I can't get a simple loaner and you want to keep my only vehicle for a week I will take my Ford (frustrated on road daily) somewhere else. The honeymoon period is over and so is my time with y'all. Your service department is unprofessional!

In a word: AppallingI've never been 'taken for a ride' (pun intended) in such a way before by anyone ever trying to get money out of me before. So I receive a letter in the mail from Ford Motor Company: There's a recall on your TCM! Contact your local dealership for a free replacement. I call Palmetto Ford Lincoln. After being transfered 3 times and hung up on once by their receptionist, I am put into contact with the Service Center, where I describe the issues my car is having, and get told I qualify for a replacement which should take about an hour (In 3 weeks...)I show up, and the absolute tool in the Service Center informs me I was lied to on the phone, and that this is a MINIMUM 6 WEEK replacement process. 6 weeks that they need to keep my car for. If you or anybody you know is capable of going 6 weeks without a vehicle, let me know. I'm fascinated to learn. Service Center guy then also informs me that the first 2 weeks of that is just waiting in line for a *diagnoses*. AKA, my car just sitting in the lot waiting, untouched. He includes the fun detail that if the diagnoses comes back that I actually don't qualify (despite what I was told earlier) that I am on the hook for a $190 diagnostic fee. Are they running a car mechanic, or are they just renting out parking spots?I would rather my car disintegrate out from under me than deal with these people again.

Went to Palmetto this morning and worked with James. He was amazing. I wasn't able to find something that fit my finances there but he offered advice and was completely non-pushy. I am sad I wasn't able to find something because I would have loved to continue working with him!

Proudest owner of a new Ford Maverick Tremor! My guy Jay was the best and easiest to work with. The most seamless process (despite many signatures lol) but felt very educated about our decision. So excited to drive my new car around town + all the adventures to come.

Terrible Customer Service! I called on a Friday morning (June 16) to see if I could come by for a quick computer diagnosis because an engine light was coming on my 2010 F-150. They told me no and that there was not an open appt. until June 28. I was considering buying a new truck from them and after this experience, I told the service woman I would never come back in the door. Her answer was "NO Problem." This is the second time in less than 3 months that no one even paid any attention to my needs at that dealership. What a joke. They need to run it like their sister company, Palmetto Boat Sales which is spot on everyday.

While the majority of this review applies strictly to palmetto ford. It seems most dealerships I visited are very similar in nature. Firstly, be prepare to be surrounded like a vulture before you even exit your vehicle. The salespeople stand outside waiting before you even park to try and reel you in. It's quite frankly very off putting. I was selling my vehicle to them and the whole deal was very sketchy. I told them I needed my vehicle for another week before actually selling it, and they had a bunch of forms they had me sign. That's it, just had me sign them. Nothing filled out, just asked me to sign and they would fill out later. Is that not shady or what? When I brought the vehicle back to actually sell it to them, not only did it take nearly 3 hours... yes 3 hours to sell a vehicle. What was odd, they had me sign more forms, that yet again weren't filled out. They stated that the people the inventory the cars and give them a stock number weren't there. So because of that, they couldn't fill out the forms. I begrudgingly signed hoping it would end well. While it did eventually end well, it took nearly 2 weeks to get the "forms" emailed to me that should've been filled out and sent to me later that afternoon. They really lowball you and take advantage of the buyer. I sold my vehicle to them for less than $31,000, mins you they paid ford credit much less than that. Now they have the vehicle listed for sale for nearly $39,000. I'm sure they won't get that, but how much profit do you need to make on a customer? I won't be going back to this dealership again. From the vulture esque welcoming, to the shady paperwork handling, and the low ball offering price, this is why they are getting a single star. With a 2 star average, it's clear I'm not the only one who feels this way regarding this dealership

I purchased a suv here and it went pretty smooth , just be mindful that they push a extended warranty that is only good at their dealership which is useless to me because I live 200 miles away. I purchased a genuine ford extended warranty online for half the cost of their in house warranty . They also etch the vin of your car on the windows before asking you and then charge $250+ . This is a typical dealer sham and doesn't lower your insurance or deter theft or aid in recovery. Other than that I rate this ford dealer better than most others ,friendly staff low pressure sales . I can't speak for the service department.

Companies like this are the reason that car dealerships are poorly perceived. A number of years ago, my credit was less than stellar. I was assured by a sleaze ball sales representative that he could get me credit on a used GMC Blazer. He also said that he'd need me to bring my down payment of $2000 in cash. Unfortunately, I was a young guy with bad credit who believed that this person was trying to help me. I see the commercials today and this experience comes back to my mind and I remember his being very specific about entering $0 as the down payment on the credit application. I have subsequently been blessed with a very lucrative career and exemplary credit. I am sickened when I recall this experience, my naïveté and the behavior of this organization towards a young person who'd made some poor choices.Steer clear of Palmetto Ford!
