This is just great. If busy, it may take a while but much better than the Ford dealership repair. The head mechanic is a genius. And everyone is super nice.

I paid them for the work on balancing tires, less than a month has passed, the problem appeared again, I came to help them fix this situation, but they said that they would not do anything and send them to another workshop, the team is not polite, they are rude and rude, I do not advise you to use this unqualified place!!!

I received professional and reliable service for my Mercedes Benz GLK 350. They promptly called me and provided me with the exact price. The new front brakes work exceptionally well.

We had a less than satisfying experience (actually unsettling) at a different location while traveling. The staff at Pep Boys in West Ashley were our heroes. Dawn, the Service Manager, started the process of putting our minds at ease after our previous experience at the other location. Then from there Jesus, the Assistant Service Manager and Justin, the Mechanic, were efficient and communicated the process with us professionally. The vehicle was fixed correctly and we were able to continue our travels in confidence. This team was exceptional! This renewed our confidence in Pep Boys after our previous experience!
Thanks again to Dawn, Jesus and Justin!

Literally just left from their location and never felt so frustrated and confused with customer service. Came in to ask questions about their A/C services for my Tahoe and was literally stared at with confused looks on the reps faces before they greeted me.
What happened to customer services where I have to open my mouth to say something when I’m a potential customer? The female rep finally put on a “ business smile “ and asked if I needed anything after staring at me in confusion like I wasn’t even supposed to be there or not.
The male rep ( looked like a mechanic ) looked up once at me and looked back down to play with his pen and STILL said nothing to me. Listen I’m the type of person of never going anywhere where I feel like I don’t belong and I’m definitely not leaving my car anywhere where the reps feel as if their customers owe them anything.
It’s been years since being at Pep Boys, and this experience DEFINITELY makes me not wanting to step back foot in there for a while. It sucks because they’re relatively close and I wanted to avoid going to the dealership I got my truck in order to get serviced.
I don’t care if you guys have been at at work all day, but every experience and visit of your customers should be renewed and fresh, especially if they’ve done nothing wrong to you guys at all.

DO NOT GO THERE!! Unless you want to be treated rudely and scammed!!!
I made an appointment for 8:00 and when I can in, the lady behind the counter said, “I’ll be with you in a second” without even looking at me and she just kept scrolling on her computer. I said, finally, that I have an appointment for 8:00. She said there were 2 cars in front of me. What’s the sense of making an appointment??
A guy came in to ask about tires and bullshitted with 2 men I hadn’t seen for over 20 minutes. I went to the desk to find out when I was going in. Nobody looked at me or acknowledged that I was standing there. The guy who came in asking about tires turned to me and asked how I was doing? I said, “Just wonderful.” I had an appointment at 8:00 and still waiting to get in there! The lady says that another mechanic is coming in at 10:00. They only had 2 mechanics. I asked do I have to wait for that mechanic? Even though it happened to be 10:00. She said no, your car is next. Well, the guy that was bullshitting with the guy for 20 minutes was the mechanic who finally went out to get my car.
I wanted an oil change and that the AC wasn’t working.
It wasn’t in there that long, charge me $158 and told me I needed a whole new AC that would cost over $2800.
A friend said to me that his AC wasn’t and he just got something at Walmart and put some Freon and his AC worked. Well, to my surprise, I did exactly that and I didn’t have to put much in and I have cold air!!!!
I just called and talked to someone at Pep Boys and asked why they gave me a price of over $2800 when all I spent was $40 and I have cold air! He said when they hooked it up to see what was wrong with it, it said that was what I needed. He said, give it a few days and it probably won’t work! Huh?? Scammers for sure.
I didn’t even get a sticker on my windshield saying when to get my next oil change. Unbelievable!!! And then the lady who was not nice AT ALL says, “By, hun!” WOW!!!!
DO NOT GO THERE!!!

My past review wasn't the most flattering but I also like to say that when they're able to do a service they do it at a really good and reasonable price. They always can't get the parts and that sometimes frustrating

Just don’t do it. I’ve tried 3 different times to have pep boys perform services or help me. Every single time they have failed or messed up without remorse. Wasted a lot of my time. I’ve scheduled to get new tires there before, they checked and set an appointment for me. I called the day before to check and everything was okay, the day of the service, the lady at the desk says they didn’t have the tires. Then just looked at me like I was wrong. I’ve taken my previous car there due to handling issues and they overlooked my alignment and tire with a nail in it to tell me nothing was wrong with it, that they charged silverrock but that if I came back I’d pay. So I ended paying to have it done somewhere else without silver rock. Most recently, I called about services to a jeep, and when the lady at the desk was rude or seemed to lack knowledge on what I was asking. I asked to speak to a mechanic. She walked away 2 seconds and said “the mechanic said take it to the jeep dealership”. Just completely throwing away my business. I then called today to see if they specifically could help with a wheel bearing because they are the closest shop but I was told to wait on hold for over 20 minutes. I drove to the shop and the lady at the front desk was not talking to anyone, she was just standing there. So I hung up and that is my final attempt to use pep boys.

Booked online, hours later was told understaffed on Friday. Saturday they could do the 4 tires and alignment, then 5pm Saturday told me they couldn't do the alignment due to staffing, asked me to pay in full to store it overnight or come get it. Monday my wife was lied to telling her that they couldn't reach me to tell me they couldn't finish the job. Monday I get called that they finally got the tires on, 3 days later, but couldn't do the alignment, and I'd have to drive it to the Pep Boys on Rivers for them to fit it in. Rivers was great, no hassle, smooth, exasperated by Savannah Hwy tactics and completed the alignment with pictures and explanations. Please go to Rivers Ave Pep Boys

They were efficient and quick with my service. I had the pleasure of experiencing the warm personalities of Melanie, Aaron, and Jhordane. They made me feel at home and took great care of me.
I would rate them 10/10 and highly recommend them to anyone. I will definitely be back for future services.

Customer service is solid. But when I make an appointment a week in advance I generally expect them to have the tires they tell me they have. It’s a massive inconvenience to drive an hour only to be told they can’t actually help. Sour taste.

Melanie was absolutely amazing. Took us right away, was knowledgeable about our issue, helped us solve it quickly and didn’t try to upsell us or break the bank. Aaron and her are a great team. We’ll be back if/when a problem arises!

I went there for an Uber inspection. The problem was that, because of a bug in the system, there had been no way to get the form through the Uber app. The brunette was very uncooperative from the start. It was evident that she deliberately decided that she didn't want to produce the form (although when I called in the morning they said that it wasn't a problem if i couldn't get this form from Uber). I went to the Pep Boys on Rivers to do the inspection, they didn't do all these ridiculous stories about printing it out. The ones on Savannah Highway lost a customer. Very unprofessional.

I brought my car in because I was hearing a weird noise every time I stopped. The technician Mike was great to work with. He checked on a few things to make sure he identified exactly what was causing the issue. He walked me through everything that he was doing to determine the root cause of the issue, and the appropriate solution. Overall great experience.
