A great charitable organization and a fun way to spend an hour demanding the attention of about ten different cats that only want to eat food. :)

You have to pay $17 dollars to get in and you will have only 1 hour to enjoy the cats. And you need a reservation . I called and asked how it works if I could just come in and grab some coffee while chilling with the cats and they told me yes. At no moment they mentioned reservations or the $17 dollars. It should be advised

Such a great idea! So happy there’s an amazing cafe and wine bar out there with cats from shelters to give love to and adopt! The staff are very friendly and nice to talk to, great place overall! We need more places like this around to help cats find their home and to have a space to roam and be loved onin replacement to them being in a small kennel at a animal shelter

Love the mission of Pounce! I'm all for saving rescue animals and the fact they have such a high adoption rate is truly amazing.. wish I could have brought Bryson home with me the other day :) The employees working are friendly and can tell they care about the well-being of their cats. Check this place out if you're into kitties, coffee and/or wine!

This was the purrfect cat cafe! The cats were well taken care of, the atmosphere was amazing, and everyone was just so happy to be there. We also witnessed a cat getting adopted after the hour was up and it was just so heartwarming.

Love this place. It's a great business that does a lot for the cats that need homes and the homes that need cats. It's such a nice time to just chill with cats for 30 or 60 min. It's a great way to get cats used to people and just a fun thing to do.

I’ve been to cat cafes all over the world and country: Atlanta, Chicago, New York, LA. This one by far is the shadiest and has the worst business practices. Avoid at all cost. Charleston has MUCH better to offer.I’m seeing a lot of responses to negative reviews that say “like every other cat cafe in the US…” Funny. Seems as though the owner and/or staff might need to do some market research if they truly believe this is how similar businesses work, as well as some training among the staff on their own “policies.” I’m surprised this for-profit “business” has lasted this long.

This was honestly my favorite thing I did in South Carolina! I love all animals. I spent about $12 per person for 30 minutes of play time with the cats. They also had an option that was $17 per person for an hour, plus you would get a drink. Either way, it was a great deal! All the cats are up for adoption and they get in new cats all the time. According to a sign in their place, they already adopted out over 2,000 cats. All the staff is so sweet and friendly as well as very knowledgable! I had such an amazing time and could have stayed there forever! If you like cats, or animals in general - definitely visit! I would be back if I was in the area.

the service was terrible let's start off with i come in and i see a few kittens great the area was nothing like i expected not a kitten luxury the cats weren't happy anyways i found one that seemed a little skittish but would let me pet it and i wanted to take it home it pretty much slept the entire time i was there i talk to the worker and he/she said I WOULDNT RECOMMEND ANY OF THESE!!! and then recommended another that i watched hiss and the other cat and i'm like could i please adopt the cat practically begging the employee because i fell in love i was so upset when i left and i was very upset i went to the spca and the experience was sm better although i'm still attracted the this sweet heart so i can't bare to get another kitten atm cus she's filled my heart if you get her she's a sweet heart and i loved her although customer service wasn't great and i won't be returning!

This place is ridiculous. My wife and I went to adopt a cat and have a nice early morning date, just to do something different. After deciding on a beautiful cat, very temperamental. The manager said we couldn't adopt the cat for a few weeks since they only had 3 cats total for adoption. This "business" only makes money for people coming in and paying a fee while tempting alcohol bc we are so confused by this business model. I could easily go on an on about the ethics but objectifying cats and not letting them be adopted before your timeline is profit bassed and not for the betterment of animals. Go to pet helpers. This place is a complete scam.

Found this cute little place on Google and had to go! So glad we did. Such a great experience. Our visit included a canned soda and an hour to play with all the kitties. Money well spent. Even better to know that the cats are adoptable! You can tell the cats are well taken care of and have an entire room to roam freely. Even with all the cats, the room was very clean. The bar area was separated with a door so the cats could not go in there. Overall would give this place a 10/10 and if we are in the Charleston area again, will for sure go back!

It's a great way to get to play with cats and potentially adopt one. It's a neat business model, cafe in the back, and cats to play with up front.I really need to learn to read catitude better. Magnus is playful, and he has sharp claws -- lol.
