Visited the relatively new Publix on Folly Road (James Island, SC). The store is well-stocked, clean, and inviting. Staff was pleasant at every turn. Deli, aisles, and checkout. Couldn't have asked for a bette experience.

Great experience at this Publix today! They are really doing a good job of keeping things stocked and it's always very clean. The employees continue to be very friendly and helpful. It is definitely more costly to shop at Publix, but it's usually worth it for the service and quality of products.

Came here with a pre order for a bakery cake and a deli platter. The bakery item was ready, however the deli platter for my party was not ready nor prepared in any way. The deli manager was an asshole and did not offer an apology or any sort of assistance with the inconvenience. Would not recommend this location.

I'm grateful this Publix is about 4-5 minutes away from my house. I was one of those last minute people on a Saturday night who needed a medication that requires an ID, of course I was already running late so I called ahead thinking I'll be ahead of the game. When I got there I saw the pharmacist's smiling face. As she asked for my ID at 6:54 I realized I picked up the wrong wallet. My sister had to bring my wallet with my ID & got there right there at 7pm. I know the pharmacist had an 11 hour day already and was I'm sure ready to go home. I just want to say THANK YOU for being patient with me. I'm sorry I was there at the last possible minute. I greatly appreciate you doing the other little things to close and get me right at the very end of your long shift.

There is a family debate of which is the better James island publix. For me, this place hits home. Always clean, organized, with the friendliest staff. You can't beat the self checkout for super quick trips if you only need an item or two. My fave is ordering a pub-sub ahead, doing my shopping and then grabbing before I check out. Keep an eye out for their BOGO deals, and check out the bakery cookies. Either the chocolate chip or black&whites are gone in a *day* in our house.

There is a level of friendliness at Publix that stands out from the rest from the greeting at the door to the bagger at check out. Their warmth shows in their culture Every week there are 2-3 great BOGO wine sales that are amazing and let me try new wines I've never thought to try The BOGO sales are awesome and very transparent around the store The Gouda Mac and Cheese is to die for Really great kombucha and vegetarian section Overall, solid experience

I love coming to this location on James island compared to the other one. The workers are always so friendly and make the shopping experience a breeze. My only complaint is the food prices going up but unfortunately that's everything right now!

We decided to grab sub sandwiches from the relatively new Publix on the way to the beach. We thought it would be a good idea to put our order in advance to make it smoother. We actually got to the Publix a little earlier than the quoted pick up time. When we got here there was 1 person in line and a woman named Pricilla make subs. So we waited a brief wait only to have this woman lecture us about coming early and how it inconveniences other customers to be early. In the future we'll just order from the line and avoid the trouble and the lecture. This woman clearly has let the stress of the sun sandwich line get the best of her.

I agree with Rebekka's competence, great attitude and professionalism. I was determined not to use CVS due to bad customer service experiences while vacationing in past years. I moved to James Island Jan 2021 and Riverland was very new and less than a mile. Easy prescription pick-up from the drive in or inside. Staff is great!!My only issue is the Public's Pharmacy software.1. Most times does not alert if you have a script ready.2. Viewing your scripts, it does not tell you which ones are ready for renewal. It just lists them all with last date of refill.3. You cannot select auto refill in the APP. You have to monitor your new prescriptions or have the pharmacy add it to your bulk renewal list.Overall not very useful, for me anyway.

Brand new store is great and a pleasure to shop at. Favorite part is the subs which you can order ahead of time. Fill all my prescriptions at their pharmacy and they are always promptly done.

I was mistakenly prescribed a drug containing sulfa to which I'm allergic. The pharmacist caught it and called doctor to change the type of medication.

The pharmacy manager, Rebekka Flynn is always so kind and helpful when I stop in to pickup refills. I am new to this area and she made switching pharmacies really easy. Rebekka is always patient and happy to answer any questions I might have!
