I've been attending classes for a few weeks now and really enjoying the studio, instructors and other clients. Everyone is super welcoming and open. The foundations classes were so helpful and then it's been nice to take from several different instructors to get a feel for the different class formats and instructing approaches. Looking forward to continuing growing in this practice and would recommend to anyone looking for a challenging workout.

I have been trying to cancel my membership here for several days. Everyday I have called multiple times, sent texts, left voicemails, and sent emails with no answer or response from anyone at this franchise. I have contacted corporate and the only way to cancel is by getting in contact with the local franchise and sending a written notice (which I have sent). This shows me that they do not respect their customers and would rather manipulate them into paying another month or so of membership fees. Do not sign up for a membership here if you ever plan on cancelling for any reason.

I started my pure barre journey about 2 weeks ago, and I cannot tell how much I LOVE it. Not only the workout side, but the wonderful people who teach it! You feel so welcomed even if you are new and not in the groove of things! They push you to do better and be better! And all the smiling faces you get greeted with each time you show up for a class. I cannot wait to continue with pure barre and the ladies in west Ashley& downtown!

Myth debunked: You don’t have to be a ballerina, a Pilates expert, or a yogi to do barre.I’ve been taking classes for about 3 months and really enjoy it! When I started, I had not exercised regularly (other than walking) in about 8 years. This is a great low-impact, full body, very challenging workout. I like that the moves can be modified for back and knee injuries. The West Ashley studio is small so usually between 6-12 people in class. I like having access to the downtown studio as well. Sometimes that location will have a class that better suits my schedule. The instructors at both studios work with any skill level. Grab a buddy and give the foundations (beginner) class a shot!!

Pure Barre has improved my flexibility, core strength and the over all look of my figure! The instructors are fantastic, I definitely have my favorites. The owner Sarah and her staff is so flexible and willing to work out any type of membership plan that will work for you. I attend at least four times a week. It helps me clear my mind and gain refocus for the rest of my day !

I had my first Pure Barre class yesterday and I loved it! I really like that they have lunch time classes so I don't have to go to the gym before or after work. I ended up signing up for an 8 pack of classes / month on an ongoing basis. The one thing I REALLLLLLY don't like about this gym are the membership options. I am a member of Gritbox and have been for 2 years so I'm just at Pure Barre to supplement. I will max be here twice a week. The 8 pack of classes is on auto draft with a 30 day cancellation policy. I have NEVER heard of a gym that put class packs on auto renew AND the classes don't roll over. The whole point of gyms offering classes is for the people that don't want a month to month membership. Also, how are people supposed to test out your studio if they have to set up auto draft the first day? Like I said, I did sign up for the 8 pack and do plan to cancel at the end of this month. If the class packs weren't auto draft and the classes rolled over I can guarantee this studio would stay in my regular rotation. Unfortunately, it's going to be a short stay for me but I do really enjoy the class!

I am obsessed with Pure Barre! Their workouts are challenging for sure, but I feel so accomplished and energized after! It's been encouraging me to eat healthier as well and with the combination of my improved diet and Pure Barre, I've been easily dropping pounds. The staff is incredibly friendly and take the extra step to know your name (I love that!).

Showed up to do a quick work out on my lunch break. Was told by front desk that I should wear leggings or capris. I typically do 6am class and have never had an issue. Just a little presumptuous to be given feedback like that when we are all there to workout. I had no idea highly specific workout clothing was a requirement. Won't go back to that class or time.

I bought a groupon on a whim a few months ago. Now I am going three times a week. I love it! Everyone is so nice and the teachers are very knowledgeable. I appreciate their corrections and encouragement. I feel better in my body. Thanks Pure Barre!!

I just completed my first free week at the West Ashley location. I took five classes during this week with four different instructors. Everyone has been so welcoming, supportive, and encouraging. Anyone looking for a workout that produces results in a clean and friendly environment this is the place for you. I have enjoyed my time spent at Pure Barre so far. The classes are addicting and I will be purchasing a membership.

I've really enjoyed this studio. The staff are always friendly, the studio is always clean and sign-up & in is quick & convenient so finding a class to fit into a hectic schedule is never a problem.
