Incredible! Fantastic! Life-saving! Helpful! Amazing! What adjective have I left out?This unbelievable service department literally saved our tails. Our “check engine” light came on THE AFTERNOON BEFORE we were scheduled to drive 12 hours back to New Orleans. I brought my Jeep Wrangler to them late afternoon the afternoon before we had to leave. This magnificent service department diagnosed and fixed the problem and got me back on the road per our timeframe the next morning. WHAT CAR DEALERSHIP SERVICE DEPARTMENT DOES THIS? These people are absolutely incredible!! They deserve all the accolades and praise I can think of. They absolutely defined customer service. I brought my Jeep for a start/stop issue and despite it was not covered by the warranty anymore, I received the same quality of service I always get from the shop guys, they deserve all the credit. I do remember the desk person Oles (fromUkraine) was very polite, knowledgeable and made my visit a nice one; he’s very polite and took the time to make sure I got my Uber home, kept great communication while my car was in the shop and made sure I got it back on the same day!! Great service team! They were able to work my Jeep in earlier than the scheduled date, which was a life saver as my maternity leave was up and going back to work the next week. They communicated and clearly explained what was wrong. They got the job done quickly and so well!

The dealership is focused on getting vehicles out of the shop without seeming to care that your issue has been resolved. Scheduling takes weeks and issues are dismissed and or excuses are made to try and pacify customers. When you insist on a resolution you are ignored and told that the problem is related to something you did rather than taking responsibility and resolving the issue. Dealerships are very quick to take your money. Once you sign and they give you the keys you are essentially on your own. Be VERY careful when dealing with any dealership. Do your best to completely avoid Rick Hendrick dealerships!Mr. Wallace - I gave many opportunities for both Charleston locations to help me resolve this issue. I have engaged with RamCare and am waiting for them to provide me with options. If it cannot be resolved I will dump the truck on the market and purchase from another manufacturer.

1st, Phillip Kresch my salesman was the best. A very pleasant experience. Very friendly and professional. Very knowledgeable about the truck I bought. Never once did he pressure me into anything. Everyone at dealership was extremely friendly. Got a great price on a 2023 Ram 2500 6.4 Night Edition. Bought a car about 6 years ago from Rick Hendrick in Charleston SC that's why I went back. It is a 2 hour ride for me but well wort it. Great dealership and great people...John J

I have owned several Jeeps throughout the years and have enjoyed each and everyone. My latest has been giving me some mechanical problems. Well I had major work done @5000 miles ago. It has been driving fine and I drove it from Spartanburg to Charleston. The engine had a misfire so I drove into Rick Hendricks to see if they could repair it. They couldn't get my car in for 3 weeks. When I asked for a local mechanic I got a blank stare and the response from the service manager he's never had to use a mechanic. Ridiculous!

I got in a wreck and needed to find a new car quickly. I told Wes what I needed/wanted and he took me straight to the perfect vehicle. He even came in on his day off to finalize everything. Such a seamless and pain-free experience. Everyone involved was super kind and helpful. I will definitely recommend this location and staff to everyone. Thank you all so much!

After having a terrible experience at another dealership in Lugoff while looking for a truck, I got hooked up with Johnny from a web inquiry. I live 3 hours from Charleston and Johnny was able to put the right deal together within a few hours by phone. I went down same day to pick up my new truck and trade in my old vehicle. They got me in and out of the dealership rather quickly. Excellent customer service experience and was worth the 3 hour ride each way from Charlotte. If you are looking for a car at Hendrick Chrysler, ask for Johnny he will go beyond expectations. I'll be happy to return for my next vehicle purchase.

My daughter and Son in Law needed a new vehicle quickly. I sent her to Thomas Herring to see if they could find something they could get into. Within a few hours he had them in a newer vehicle with warranty and they couldn’t be happier. I really appreciate what Thomas was able to do and the way he treated them. Highly recommend that if you are in the market for a new vehicle please give Thomas Herring a call. You will not be disappointed!!

My recent car dealership experience was absolutely fantastic, thanks to Bill, our car salesman. From the very start, Bill was incredibly helpful and patient with us. He answered all of our questions and thoroughly explained every detail of the car we bought. He also offered us a great deal and worked with us to find the best financing option. We could tell that Bill was genuinely interested in making sure we got the best deal and had a great experience. He was friendly and professional throughout the entire process, and went out of his way to make sure we were happy. We highly recommend Bill as a car salesman, and the dealership as a whole.

So happy with my purchase at Rick Hendricks Dodge. Phil got straight to the point no hassling no trying to convince me of other options, I told him what I wanted and how I wanted to go about and he listened.Everything went smoother than I anticipated. The financial team was awesome and made sure I got the best deal. Johnnilee shes basically closes the deal, she was friendly and informative she broke down all my final payments and made sure I knew what was included in my payments and warranty so I didn’t left feeling confuse and able to drive off the lot with my BRAND NEW CHALLENGER!

I worked with Tyler Rampersant at Rick Hendrick Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM, and I cannot say enough good things about my experience. I am young and, when my previous car started to putter out, I was very nervous about my first car-buying experience because I knew I had so much to learn. From my first interaction with Tyler, I explained what was most important for me to have in my new car and he helped make it happen. He was honest, upfront, and incredibly cooperative as I sought to understand this process. I think, in total, I spent 3 hours at this dealership from start to finish (test drives, purchasing, picking up) and it couldn't have gone smoother. My family was shocked that I wasn't stuck there for 4-5 hours in one day just to complete all the paperwork. These guys are the best and helped make this experience completely painless and stress-free. I'm so grateful!!

The service team here refused to fix my van and told us it was “safe to drive” after it was broken into and wouldn’t latch in the back. I haven’t made a single payment on the car and we left the car there for 6 days and they didn’t look at it the entire time we were on our cruise. When we came back they wouldn’t sign off that the car was safe enough to make the 10 hour drive home with luggage and 6 people. We had to get corporate involved to change the lock on the van and it ended up taking them two hours. My husband got into a huge fight with the service department, my mom had to call corporate for a 2 hour car lock fix. The service department didn’t explain the full situation to their manager and their manager threw them under the bus to the wolves. This entire situation should have been avoided- we wanted our car safe enough to transport our children and not to cause an accident on the highway. Our car is under warranty. I am sure this place is great if you’re local and for other people. I truly believe this turned into a contest of the male ego and the service department needs to learn that safety of their children isn’t something customers should be asked to compromise on.
