I came in today to open an account so I can get rid of Chase which is a joke of a bank by the way. Mr. Adonis made everything so easy, he was sweet and personable and made me extremely happy that I decided to go with South Carolina Federal.

Leigh Anne Cone is always my go to lady. I joke with my friends that she is my bank wife and I don't do anything without getting her opinion first. She is so knowledgeable and very proficient at her job I just don't trust anyone else.

My husband and I had such a wonderful experience at this location. As soon as we walked in we were greeted at the door by a young man named Caleb and he helped us the entire time. I told my husband that they were the "Chic-fil-A" of the banking industry because of the impeccable customer service we received from Caleb. These soulless crooks will make sure you can’t eat. They will give your money to companies you haven’t bought anything from even if you tell them the change is an error while it is still under an authorization hold, then won’t give you the rest of your own money unless you split it with them. These people make me understand why Jesus didn’t like bankers or tax collectors.

The engine in my vehicle blew. I had no idea what I was going to do. I was put in touch with Anita and Wanda (loss prevention). These ladies offered multiple solutions. I visited Caleb (Sam Rittenberg location) and within an hour was approved for a loan refinance which was enough to purchase a new engine and keep the payments almost the same. What could have been a horrible situation and a hit to my credit score was turned into a positive experience because of SCFCU and these three employees. I LOVE my credit union!!

this bank has made more errors with our account than i care to put on this review. SCFCU gave my private confidential information to the hacker that got into my accounts!!!!!! HORRIBLE BANK

As Always the Tellers, Office Staff, Loan Officers and Managers are Outstanding!!! Day in and Day out they operate with perfection!!! The James Island Branch sets the standard for any and all Credit Unions and Banks!!! It's a pleasure to walk in every time to transact my business. They are the Best!!!

The message I sent corporate: "YOUR IT, APP AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORSE! TRYING TO MAKE PAYMENT- PAY OFF PAYMENT- WHAT BANK CAN'T TAKE A PAYMENT??!! This is an unbelievable experience. I am 2 hours from a branch, I have spent the last hour trying to pay off my loan. Online, I had to ask it repeatedly to text or call me a number to verify me to make the payment. I finally receive the code and it said "payment amount exceeds the daily limit of an external transfer". Then, I tried calling in to pay by phone and they refused to take the payment BECAUSE THE CSR SAID I DID NOT SOUND LIKE A MAN! I verified my social, my account number, my DOB and my address and previous address flawlessly and she accused me of not being a man and said she would not take my payment that I would have to travel 2 hours to a branch to pay off my loan!!!! Your algorithm should be deciding my gender (Account #, SS#, DOB# Address, etc), not the assumptions and judgements of your CSRs. ALL OF THIS OVER MAKING A PAYMENT??!! SCFEDCU's archaic IT and customer service has been horrible for all 3 years. I want to pay-off ASAP and never deal with you again."
