I love this place! So relaxing. I go here once a month for a massage. Highly recommend! The yoga classes are also welcoming. The yoga classes are not heated; however, a good flow.

Overall pretty good experience. My boyfriend and I did the couples massage. The spa is beautiful and very relaxing. We did have the masseuses walk in without knocking before we were ready so that was a bit of a surprise. My boyfriends masseuse was great and asked about what he preferred. Mine was good however I feel like the massage I received was more pressure point centralized and rubbing oil into me rather than focus on muscles. In addition I feel that the pressure used was a bit too much for me at times (I’m a smaller person). Still felt good and was relaxing but not really what I was expecting, next time will try a different masseuse.

Love it. All the instructors are very kind, open, and excellent yoga teachers. I try to go here at least two to three times a week, and I have liked every instructor I've had so far. They are all knowledgeable, yet each one has a slightly different yogic background which yields a diverse instructional sphere if you attend classes by different teachers.I should note I'm a little bit older (Gen X) and the crowd is mostly Millennials, but I never feel out of place here, it's a really open and positive environment. For a drop in price that's less than the cost of a single cocktail downtown, I'm doing something positive for my body and mind and getting better every visit. Thank you Salt Spa & Yoga! :)

This place is a definite MUST if you are ever in the Charleston Area looking for a place of serenity and relaxation. The staff is welcoming and the massage therpist knows exactly what to do to assist with your wellness/self care needs! Put them on your list and its okay if you tell them MY review sent YOU!!

Valerie gave me the best massage I’ve ever had. Being from Colorado, the massage capital of the world, that’s saying a lot. Really helped my healing Achilles. Thnx!!

I just got out of the New You special that included a Migun Bed special, a hour long Swedish massage with Jennifer, and an infrared sauna session and I truly feel ‘new.’ The service was fantastic from the beginning to the end and I cannot recommend treating yourself to this enough. The next time I’m in town, I will definitely be back!

After reading a ton of reviews, we visited Salt Spa & Yoga for a couples massage this weekend. They were able to get us in immediately; which was really nice. We arrived early so we were able to take advantage of the "relaxation room" (they took us back almost immediately). This was a huge, dark room with comfy chairs, soft music and water/snacks (altho there was a sign for snack - lol - no snacks) and TONS of salt lamps. They started/ended our massages exactly on time and we both agreed, our therapists were both absolutely amazing. The room was VERY clean and the entire studio smelled phenomenal. The lobby was filled with tons of jewelry, lotions, and misc. small boutique items. Really, clean and fresh. The staff were all just outstanding. I did hold back on 1 star because, like I said, I read a TON of reviews and not one talked about the parking. So this is downtown. That said, it's only off street parking - so no lot or dedicated parking for this studio. We had to park SO far away and pay ... all fine ... just wish we would have known that going in. We're not from the area so were a bit clueless as to WHERE to even park. The paid lots were not clear but that is no reflection on Salt Spa & Yoga - but rather to help someone in our exact same position (visiting from out of town) to be aware of. All in all EXCELLENT experience, 10 outta 10 would recommend and would go back for another couples massage should we ever visit again.

We booked a couples massage online a few days in advance at Salt Spa for my birthday. The appointment was for 9:15 am, but we received an email at 8:53 the morning of the appointment that the time changed to 9am and the provider had changed. They didn’t call and notify us. We showed up at our appointment, and the lady at the front desk informed us the massage therapist called out and they could no longer do the couples massage, but they could do two individual massages back to back instead. This isn’t what we wanted,One of the worst experiences as a customer I’ve ever had. We booked a couples massage a few days in advance, however, they did not inform us that they only had the staff to do individual massages until we showed up at our appointment. We understand people may call out and appointments may have to be moved/canceled, however, rather than apologizing for the inconvenience and asking us how we wanted to proceed, they decided to try and guilt us into taking the individual massages by having the massage therapist tell us that she came in today on her day off to cover for her coworkers. We appreciate them trying to accommodate us, but the we booked a couples massage because we wanted to have the experience together. When we apologetically informed them this isn’t what we wanted, they just looked away and didn’t say another word to us and we just walked out. The lady at the front desk was rude, condescending, and never once offered an apology through this entire experience.Furthermore, they didn’t refund us (they make you pay when booking) until we called a week later. The lady on the phone then further gaslit me by saying they bent over backwards to help us and it was really disheartening when we declined. We paid 300 and only received 291 back. What was supposed to be a relaxing morning enjoying my birthday because a stressful experience. This place was far from welcoming or relaxing. I traveled six hours for this experience. 0/10 I wish I could give zero stars.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting a spa that left me feeling like a relaxed, pampered potato. Yes, you heard that right, a potato! This magical place had all the ingredients for a perfect spa experience, including a salt room, heavenly massages, red light therapy, and a cozy, low-light ambiance.Let's start with the salt room, shall we? Picture yourself being enveloped in a room filled with salt… As you breathe in the salty air, you can almost feel your worries melting away, just like the salt on a hot summer day. It's like a beach vacation, minus the sand in your swimsuit. Trust me, you'll come out feeling as refreshed as a pickle. Now, onto the massages. Oh boy, where do I even begin? These massage therapists had hands that could rival a magician's. They knew exactly how to knead away the knots in my back, as if they were playing a game of "Find the Tension." It was like they had a secret map to all my stress points, and they were determined to conquer them. By the end of the massage, I felt as loose as a noodle, ready to take on the world (or maybe just a nap). And let's not forget about the red light therapy. I must admit, I was a bit skeptical at first. I mean, who knew that being bathed in red light could do wonders for your skin? But let me tell you, it was like being wrapped in a cozy blanket of warmth and rejuvenation. It's like the spa gods decided to give you a little boost of radiance, making you feel like a glowing firefly in a sea of darkness. Who needs a spotlight when you have red light therapy?Last but not least, the cozy, low-light ambiance of this spa was simply divine. It was like stepping into a cave of tranquility, where time stood still and relaxation was the only item on the menu. The soft, dim lighting created an atmosphere that was both soothing and mysterious, like a secret hideaway for tired souls. It was the perfect setting to escape from the chaos of the outside world and embrace the blissful serenity within. So, if you're in need of a spa experience that will leave you feeling as relaxed as a sloth on a hammock, look no further. This spa has it all – from the salt room that will transport you to a beach paradise, to the massages that will untangle your knots like a master puzzle solver, to the red light therapy that will make you shine brighter. And let's not forget the cozy, low-light ambiance that will make you feel like you're floating on a cloud of tranquility. Trust me, you'll leave this spa feeling like a brand new, stress-free potato.

Amazing experience with the couples massage, massage bed and sauna package. We were so relaxed after, thank you so much!
