This is by far the best Mexican food in Charleston. I used to think El Molino was the best but this place is much better. Their burrito’s are outstanding! They make everything fresh you may have to wait a bit but the wait is well worth it. Highly recommend!

A friend told me about this place four years ago, said best Mex around... and I been meaning to get there. Well, finally did. MAN. WoW. Arrived w/ my hubby, not sure where to go/ order. All the options on a big board above the cash register. Owner fella musta known we were newbies, he told us to get the burrito, "It's a life changer." How do you not do that? Got a steak burrito... and while I'm still married to the same man, living in the same house (didn't change my life!! ha ha), it was damn freakin' good. Next night, I'm on John's Island taking my best friend out for a birthday dinner at Minero's (Mex) and I get a burrito, just to compare. Shit if Torres Superette on stupid Rutledge Ave doesn't beat Mineros. I think it's their spicy, flavorful rice they put in the burrito.... but I also think it's that they leave the burrito on the grill a bit, one side is grilled. (not charred, just grilled and slightly crispy). Well, I will definitely tell people I've discovered something in this hole-in-the-wall Superette. To boot, that owner fellow, he was very nice.

This place is being slept on here in Charleston. I was treated to lunch by my boss and we stopped here for lunch. The steak burrito is awesome,well seasoned, and pack with flavor! Definitely will be making a trip myself soon!

Let's start with this...have you met Julio? A prince among men and one helluvan operator. Kitchen so clean you COULD eat off the floor. A staff so organized and harmonious you are sure its a mirage. Food so good that you don't want to leave. The good news is you can always come back. What a find! I had the steak burrito and a taco with the most tender meat (cheek) I've ever had...so oh dear GAWD good. Word to the wise. Do NOT take my word for it. Go find out for yourself. ASAP.
