The Herring Hut is a bait and tackle shop on Clarks Hill Lake. It offers the best bait on the lake, including live blue back herring, minnows, and a full line of tackle, plus snacks and drinks. The staff is very friendly and willing to help, with great people who add a few extra baits with a smile. However, the wait can be too long at times and more help is needed. Hands down best bait supplier around,always friendly always fair on price,even had bait early in the morning available before opening on an honor system. That is above and beyond
