Best bait shop ever! Very willing to help me learn how to keep my herring alive. By the third day, not one herring in 3 dozen had died in my livewell. The owner was very friendly and free with his time trying to help me have a good day on the water. Thanks a lot!!

The Herring Hut is a bait and tackle shop on Clarks Hill Lake owned and operated by Black Water Bait Co. We offer live blue back herring, minnows, crickets, worms, gizzard shad (when available), and a full line of tackle. Our store also has snacks and drinks available as well. We take pride in having the best bait on the lake. Come see us for all of your bait and tackle needs!
