The Olde Homestead repairman today replaced a valve leading to the left back burner on my stovetop, saving me from having to replace an otherwise perfectly good 12 to 15 year old gas stove with two ovens. Thank you!
The above review was from a previous visit. Today, a repairman replaced an ignition switch in the upper of two ovens on the same appliance listed in my previous review. Not only did he accurately diagnose the problem, the appropriate part was in his truck and quickly replaced. So happy this occurred AFTER Thanksgiving and BEFORE Christmas.

We have used the Old Homestead appliance repair for many years. They have always been prompt and efficient to fix a multitude of our major appliances. I found them to be honest about whether it is repairable or whether it can be fixed. Service charge has gone up and I was a little disappointed this time. All that was wrong was simply a child lock button that kept turning on preventing the dishwasher from being used so it was more of a Learning lesson than ¹fixing anything - an expensive lesson!

Jesse called me as planned, right on time , cordial, competent, quick, and directed. Being a troubleshooter, but not as good as he was, I would use Old Homestead again in a heartbeat!

We called just after they closed one evening, but they answer the phone anyway and got a repair person out the following afternoon and took care of our appliance issue in no time at all – I appreciate both the service and the efficiency and the professionalism they provide provided!

My initial call was incredibly helpful. The service tech was very efficient and friendly. However, an honest mistake was made...my refrigerator was left unplugged. I didn't realize it for several hours because I was busy. When I called the main office to tlet them know, the person was dismissive didn't really make any effort assure me they would resolve the problem. Rather than wait, I pulled the refrigerator out myself and plugged it back in. The service tech called me later that night and, again, was very friendly and apologetic. So, overall, my experience was good, but I paid full price for imperfect service and the initial response to my problem could have been light years better. I would still recommend them.
