Because of the size, I didn't think this store would have ethernet cables, but they do, and they come in multiple lengths.

The laptop required for my son's engineering major was out of stock everywhere. We called Clemson Computer Store to find out what we should do. They were very busy but took the time to check their inventory, and lo and behold, they had ONE in stock! They promptly shipped it and we received it in two days. After powering it up, however, we discovered it had a faulty TouchPad. We called The Computer Store, and they had a Dell service rep come to our house in the boondocks the next day to replace the TouchPad! Outstanding customer service! I will also add that although my son's high-end laptop cost $2,800, it was several hundred dollars cheaper than if we had ordered the one from Dell, which had less memory and graphics capability. It was a much better deal from CCS, so I'm glad it was out of stock at Dell.

Long story shortened... My daughter brought her MacBook Pro in to be repaired. She was quoted nearly $800 for the repair. After a VERY cursory google search, I found out that Apple has a program to repair (at no cost to us) this particular issue, on this particular laptop, due to the issue being caused by an acknowledged design flaw. I obtained a "case ID #" authorizing the repair, and presented this to the Clemson Computer Store staff. They actually complimented us for finding this repair program! Shouldn't they have known about it? At any rate they took the laptop in and agreed to have it repaired within a few days. However, the next day we were contacted and informed that the laptop would not be repaired under this program. Our only option was to pay the nearly $800 originally quoted. When I argued that Apple had authorized the repair (at no cost), my complaint fell on deaf ears. Fast forward, I mailed the laptop in to Apple and they repaired in under the program, at no cost to us. Our Clemson Computer Store experience was terrible to say the least. Were they trying to rip us off? I can't say for sure, but it sure looks pretty shady when an "Authorized Apple Repair Center" is supposedly not aware of an Apple repair program, and attempts to collect money for a repair which was covered by Apple. Would they have pocketed the $800, and submitted the claim/repair order to Apple? Who knows? We will not be back, and strongly advise that you walk in with your eyes and ears open...
