“I live in Six Mile and I'm at the Family Dollar/Dollar tree 2+ times a week. I pass two Dollar Generals on the way. This location is ALWAYS stocked and clean.The cashiers are amazing and very rare! They should be noticed. They're always super nice and helpful. They even have upsale competitions and I always support. They actually care about the store unlike some other stores and other Family Dollars.
I worked in Marketing and customer service for 10 years and highly recommend that you recognize and pay these employees as much as you can with your budget! They're so worth it and make your store perfect.”

“I go in this store two or 3 times a week. I tried to avoid it months ago when you had an older man who worked there, manager I think. When I checked out today I asked the employees for their names. Freddy and Wynes are great! Sometimes people struggle bringing in a cart from the cart rack outside, Freddy will run open the door for you. Even the lines when you checkout are shorter than what they use to be, wait time is less. Both of these employees are happy to see you when you go in there. This is the best help you have had at this location in the few years I have moved to Central. Nice to go in and the employees help you use your coupons instead of be mad you are. From a local who shops there often, please hold on to these employees. Very few places have good customer service any more.”
“This location is new and has more space than the previous closest location I frequented. Plenty of parking, employees I've interacted with were fine. They've fully embraced self checkout so it's not unusual to see no one at the front. The only issue is stock is spotty at times.”

“I worked here as a cashier and I have never been in a Dollar General that has very good employees until now because the manager Krystal Kelley is a excellent manager at this store and will show you the right way to do things right in the store . Everyone is so nice to the costumers. I had several of our costumers tell me that this is the store that they come to shop at because they are greeted every time they come into the store. We diffently do take care of our costumers inside the store.”

“I enjoy shopping at this location and have consistently found it to be cleaner and better maintained than many other stores in the area. The store is well-stocked, organized, and offers a great selection of products.
During my most recent visit, I experienced an issue at checkout. The cashier was unable to process my card as a credit transaction, and the payment terminal repeatedly prompted for a PIN. Attempts to bypass the PIN entry resulted in the transaction being canceled. After a lengthy discussion, I was advised that my bank could reset my card's PIN, which shows the lack of card processing understanding. This experience suggested there is an opportunity for additional employee training regarding payment processing procedures.
Overall, despite the checkout inconvenience, the store itself is clean, well-maintained, and provides an excellent shopping experience.”
