Yes the customer service is VERY lacking... and now they have a system set up where they really don't have to even talk to you... but it's set up at the cash register/check out of the pharmacy... if this meant to speed up service... place it at the BEGINING of the line NOT at the counter.... please talk to your healthcare workers... while they're job may be exhausting.. remind them THEY CHOSE THIS CAREER.... HOPEFULLY TO HELP AND GIVE COMFORTING CARE...HOWEVER THAT IS NOT APPARENT AT THIS LOCATION!!!!

Being right across the street, my family frequents this CVS often. We have had no issues with any pharmacy or store experiences. I spend a majority of my time on the pharmacy-side, and the ladies there are always professional and friendly. It's a bit wild reading some of the other reviews as we've never had those experiences in the 2 years we've been coming here. I appreciate their knowledge, and especially their patience when I have questions about insurance or new medications. I also greatly appreciate their assistance in finding ways to lower my prescription costs, such as directing me to the savings card and the Lilly savings card.

I am writing to express my growing frustration with the consistently poor service provided by the pharmacy staff at this CVS location. During my most recent visit on May 27, 2025, between 8:00 and 8:30 PM, I encountered the same three employees who have repeatedly demonstrated a complete disregard for basic customer service standards.
There was no acknowledgment when I approached the counter—no greeting, no eye contact, not even a simple, “I’ll be with you shortly.” Instead, I was left standing there while the staff continued working at an unhurried pace, completely ignoring my presence. This is not an isolated incident; it has been the same behavior every time I’ve visited, which indicates a serious issue with training, accountability, and possibly management oversight.
This level of indifference and unprofessionalism is unacceptable, especially in a pharmacy setting where patients and caregivers are often already under stress. Management needs to intervene immediately. These employees require direct coaching—or replacement, if necessary—to restore even a basic level of respect and efficiency in customer interactions.
It’s worth noting that the front-end cashiers are polite and welcoming, which makes the contrast in professionalism at the pharmacy even more glaring. I strongly urge upper management to investigate this ongoing issue and take decisive corrective action. The current state of service in the pharmacy is not only poor—it is damaging to CVS’s reputation.

I just waited for 10 minutes for someone at the pharmacy to wait on me. There were 4 people working, right in front of me. No one could be bothered to wait on a customer. If I could give them zero stars I would. I finally left.

CVS on Charlotte Highway in Lake Wylie (they consider it Clover) is always a clean store. The employees are always helpful and friendly!

6:10pm on a Saturday and Google says open.
As soon as I walked back to my car all of the employees quickly try to escape out the door like they were trying to takeoff early… Likely because that’s exactly what everyone was doing while trying not to alert CVS corporate of an “early release“

Needed to run in for one quick item. Pulled up at 9:55. A female was standing at the doors with them open. She quickly closed them and locked them. I understand they close at 10 but she watched us pull up and park right in front of the doors. She could have at least let us get the one thing we needed rather than closing the store 5 minutes early.

I give this CVS minute client ZEROOOOOOOOO stars ! The worse treatment of my life, the “doctor” was beyond LAZY, horrible interpersonal skills. Giving excuse, after excuse, after excuse on why she was unable to resolve my simple medial issue! If you coast by in medical school, barely made it through, and don’t really know what you’re doing. Just say that !

Their new voicemail system leaves little to be desired. You cannot get anyone on the phone in the pharmacy anymore. Even if you have an urgent need for a medication to be transferred out they will not help you and will take > 6 hrs to send it to the new pharmacy. They are rude and will be transferring my business elsewhere.

Everything you need for health care plus the essentials regarding drinks and snacks. It's fun to look through their seasonal items. I get all my prescriptions filled here.
