I'm very disappointed. I've heard nothing but great things about H&R Block but I have not had a great experience. I chose the option on the website to file with a pro then chose the option to work with a pro from home. This option said starting at $85, I assumed ours would be more because my husband is a 1099 contractor and I have multiple W2s. I went through the process and added all of our information and submitted our documents online. We got a message saying everything has been submitted and we should be hearing from someone soon. This was 7/18 and here we are 3 weeks later and I haven't heard anything so I called. I tried to call 5 times before finally getting through to someone at the fort mill location. The lady who assisted me stated she probably wouldn't be able to see much of my information since I filed online. She proceeds to tell me that it looks like we never actually filed and we only uploaded the documents. I was confused (and still am) because we went through everything online and there are no steps left for us to complete, we are still getting the message that our tax pro is working on our taxes. Also, I never got the information for our tax pro. The lady then tells me I can proceed to file online, basically explaining the process would be similar to TurboTax where I plug all the info in myself, or I can do it in person and would be $400-$500 to file. Absolutely obsurd, it only costs us $150 per person to file with Sloan right down the street. I wish this was a better outcome because I have heard great things.

I have used H&R Block for many years. I used to do my own taxes online but after making a huge mess, I decided to use H&R Block in Clover. Rebecca was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I called on a Friday and was able to see her on Monday. Every one there, including the lady at the front desk (I think her name is Tammy) is very pleasant.

The main reason for this score is because the staff at this location is always a pleasure to see and talk to. Very nice and helped us with all the questions we had asked.
