I have been shopping at this location for the past 5 1/2 years, since I moved to the Irmo area. Today is the first time in all these years that I decided this is it and I will be reporting them! I actually visited the store twice today, but didn't have a problem until the second visit. The lady stated she was the manager and her name was 'Ro'. There was also a guy there with light brown skin and either braids or dreads who stated his name was 'Dee', after I insisted he provide a name.
So the issue was that I used my credit card to pay for my items, which totaled $19.19. After leaving the store, something told me to check my msgs on my phone, which alerted me that $59.19 was actually charged to my credit card at Aldi, instead of the $19.19 that I actually spent!
After heading back to the store to question the transaction before the store closed, 'Ro' tried to tell me that I told her I wanted $40, which was a total lie! She/they (the guy 'Dee' included), did not expect me to catch what they did so fast, planned to keep my money and act like I took it! I caught them off guard when I caught it so fast and told them I wasn't leaving without them rolling those cameras back!
Moral of the story, you can really trust NO ONE! She did end up apologizing after I told her she at least owed me that, but this is NOWHERE NEAR OVER! I plan making corporate & ANYONE WHO LISTENS AWARE!!!! FYI: I knew 'Dee' was involved once I asked him did he review the camera & he told me I'm making too much of a big deal of the situation! 'YOU HAVEN'T EVEN SEEN A BIG DEAL YET'!!!!!

As someone else stated, I would give this location zero stars if possible. I love Aldi but not this one. We're about to move and I'll be SO glad to be near the ditch fork location were the employees genuinely enjoy their jobs. I've never met such nasty people in my life. The employees attitudes absolutely suck at this location and proper customer service has gone completely out of the window. Beware.

Pretty decent food selection, however, the prices are about the same as Walmart without the selection.

I shop here all the time. They have the best selection of dates, and Greek yogurt. They have a wine selection and a very nice meat and dairy selection. A must shop for the budget buyer.

Store has struggled to stay stocked. Most noticeable in produce, dairy, meat and baked goods, but there can be empty spots on staples shelves and in frozen items. Produce and baked goods have become especially poor (and those are both at the entrance, so it affects the initial impression).
Almost all staffed checkouts have been replaced by self-checkout (more so than in other Aldis we use), and the one that is staffed is often left unattended. This means that any issues at the self-checkouts, includung a need for age verification to buy wine, can result in long waits.
There's just a general dimness and dinginess in parts of the store, though staffing seems to have increased and in recent visits there seemed to be an increased effort to address some of these thing (checkout still an issue, though).
