Went into store with my receipt to exchange items. Floor salesperson, Jackie, whom is always so kind helped me. I went to counter to check out, cashier began exchange. Manager Jennifer, Came and took receipt from cashier and said my items weren't on receipt. She was yelling repeatedly. I stated to her, the purple shirt never had a tag, and it was scanned from another one off the rack, or my green one. She then continued yelling. My son then turned his phone on because she was becoming aggressive. She told me she was being threatened. I asked my son to go get the Jackie . Jackie came and located the item. I asked Jackie to show me the item on the receipt. Jenifer yelled do not talk to Jackie or anyone else. She than said I'm calling the police to have you removed. This is racist, deplorable, degrading, and Jenifer needs to be removed from this company. She followed me and my son to my vehicle her and an Asian heavy set employee and pointed phones at us. This is recorded on dash cam. American Eagle has accountability issues and questions to be answered. I want ANSWERS

I’ve been purchasing from AE and Aerie for a long time now, and have picked up countless orders from their Sandhills location. I have run into little issues here and there, but nothing too bad, until my most recent pickup order.Let me preface by saying, the associates and manager were super helpful and friendly. Once I found a problem, they were quick to fix it.I had gone up there about a week ago to pick up my order via locker pickup. I scanned my barcode, but the order was not there. It took 2 associates and the manager to finally find my order, and took about 10 minutes. Once they found it I was on my way.I got to my car and realized they gave me the wrong color shirt. I considered just keeping it instead of going through the hassle of getting the correct one, but decided to just go swap it out. The associate was friendly and did the swap for me.Once I finally got home, I realized that the security tag was still on the pair of leggings I had just picked up. So I drive back and have them remove it for me. And I thought that would be the end of it.Fast forward a week later, my points from the order still haven’t hit my account. Curious, I checked my order status. Someone hadn’t marked it as picked up, and your points won’t come until that is done. I had to contact corporate to set it straight, which thankfully they did and my points are on their way.What I experienced seems to be a lack of management and a bit of carelessness. I do appreciate how they were quick to fix the issues, but it could have all easily been avoided and saved me some time and frustration.

I walked in the store today and there were several girls working the floor. Many of them were talking among eachother when I walked by. I passed 3 of them (manager included) and none of them acknowledged me. I even walked past them again to give them the benefit of doubt. Paused in Zone 1 to even see if they would thank me for visiting he store. Nothing. However, kudos to the one employee (who does look like me) who asked how she could help me. Forgot her name already but she has a beautiful natural puff. It’s disappointing to see the lack of service. Done, done with this location.

I came in at about 1 on Tuesday June 13th. There were three girls on the floor on the aerie side. All 3 were on their phones and not a single one acknowledged me. I think the fact that all 3 were playing on their phones for the 20-30 minutes that I was in their shoes very poor customer service. When I am shopping, I do not need someone helping me constantly however all three employees were extremely disrespectful and rude. I don’t know if this is a norm for the store but the fact that they were all playing on their phones and not interacting with any customer is extremely rude and unprofessional. I work in retail so I found this to be very uncomfortable and rude. I will never buy from this location or visit it again. I will also be sharing the word with friends and family.

The lady with the long curly brown hair and glasses needs to maybe not stare at customers. I felt uncomfortable the entire time when every time I looked up her and the other girls were in a group talking and staring at me. Right when I walked in all she did was stare at me so I thought she was a customer until she then asked how I was doing. I don't usually enjoy shopping alone but definitely doesn't help when you're being gawked at by the staff.

Very discriminatory store. They stated that there’s no bags allowed in the fitting room which is an assumptive thing that basically states that they suspect someone of stealing. Rather than just simply counting items before an individual tries them on.

Refunded my daughter in the form of a store credit for an item that was purchased 1 day prior/paid cash, despite the fact she had her receipt. This will cost us another trip to the store to correct.
