“Amazing place, really! Very cozy, polite employee (kind older gentleman) at the desk, and wonderful options to choose from. I'll come back here for as long as it's standing!”

“Just have fun browsing the odd and eccentric products -- the mainline stuff is nice, but the creative options (from candy bins to jarred foods and goofy socks) are more fun.”

“The artists' residency programs, gallery shows & opportunities to attend workshops & lectures make 701 a unique SC contemporary art space. There isn't anyplace else in the state that consistently provides thoughtful, professional arts engagement. Please consider supporting them (non-profit)!”

“A very interesting place to visit to explore different artist exhibits for purchasing and/or for observing. It's a multicultural environment so leave all the racism and/or criticism out the door and be completely open to a new experience.”

“This is a spectacular place the owners are sweet and really there to answer questions. I was so blown away by this space, the art and the owners. I got paint mixing tips by Helen one of the artist and partner. They have a beautiful area where there are art classes and they have an art supply space in the basement. I was so emotional when I walked into the space as an artist it just had the right feel. Absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend it's a must see. For artist and enthusiasts as well.”

“I cannot recommend this shop enough! The employees were so sweet and helpful. I was greeted by multiple employees while shopping. There’s so many good finds and doesn’t feel claustrophobic like many antique stores. 100% the best antique store in Columbia!”

“I thought this was really neat & reasonably priced. We paid an extra $4 a person for the Military part, was worth the $4. My son just graduated from Fort Jackson BCT and he wanted to see this. He was free for the Military part and his ticket for general admission was aldo discounted. They have all kinds of stuff, like all about space, different animals thru the different years, just all around quite interesting stuff. There are 4 stories but I did see an elevator. I thought it was worth the price.”

“We visited while they had a, now over, exhibit on Keith Haring. It was great, large exhibition.

Their permanent collection was nice as well. It has a nice variety of works, including works of some of history's most famous artists.”
