I was a Banfield customer with a previous pet. Our new 5 month old puppy is now a patient. I feel confident that they will give, Prince Charming(Yorkshire Terrier) the same great care as they gave Major(German Shepherd Dog).
Staff professionalism and Customer Service are awesome.

I’m visiting from NY and needed to get my dog his shots. From the moment I called to make the appointment I was provided with excellent customer service. Raven, Eric and Dr. Callaghan are very professional. Dr. Callaghan made my dog very comfortable to the point that he stopped shaking.
I highly recommend this place.

Banfield takes good care of my Chihuahua ( long hair) Batman very well. Only thing I wish the price for the wellness didn’t go up especially since so much is going up. It can be tough me paying the monthly fees. Other than that they definitely have great customer service and you want regret leaving your pet in their care!

My dog and I were harassed. She was grabbed and examined, but was not having a medical emergency. I didn't sign consent for treatment or grooming. I called, and a groomer happily remembered Sookie. I wanted to do a "walk-in" to get my dog's teeth brushed, that's it. She had a mild murmur for years, and I just checked the cardiologist's echocardiogram, Grade II: Mild no medical therapy. I arrived at the appointed "grooming," at 4:30. We didn't leave until 5:45, without getting my dog's teeth brushed. My dog was calm, showing no signs of stress, sitting quietly. Sookie was still sitting calmly, showing no signs of stress. She saw Sookie walk, and she stated, "I saw her walk." When asked, I reported she has a mild heart murmur, and last time it was checked it was a Grade I. Banfield in Texas was surprised, stating it got better. The groomer said she had to call the cardiologist, and she called South Carolina Veterinary Services, the wrong number most likely on purpose. Thereby, she created a false medical emergency visit to Banfield inside this Petsmart. Now, I had given Banfield permission to check the record, and I am quite sure the attendant or nurse who checked the record saw that it was a mild murmur, just like the Cardiologist said last October 2023, Banfield said in March 2024, and another specialty vet said when he did the echo again in April 2024. But she said nothing was in the record--another false statement. She said usually you cannot check only if they have an appointment. So, they all proceeded, without my permission, to pretend an appointment was needed for a "medical" need. You see, I never signed any intake at the groomer yet. I said to the groomer now at the Banfield counter, "Let me have my dog" and lifted her, but the groomer grabbed her out of my hands, saying "You cannot bring her to the doctor." I said, "I am not bringing her to the doctor, but I am taking her up." I was going to leave because of this fiasco. Anyway, Sookie, showing no signs of stress and very calm, but I thought she was very thirsty, was whisked off. I mentioned she was thirsty, from being outside, and I asked, "Does anyone have water?" I offered water in the car, but she wasn't thirsty. They ignored me. The doctor brought her out and said, "Grade III." I said, "You're wrong, I just got it checked before I came." She then cocked her head and asked, "How old is she?" I didn't answer. After I said she was wrong, she said that's what I hear, and, after I said she is not a cardiologist, she said, "Well when a dog is showing signs of stress, I check the dog because I was asked to check." She showed no signs of stress, and I didn't ask her. The groomer left and whisked a paper off to the manager. I told the manager that I can prove she has mild heart disease. They listened at first, gave me an email, and told me to have all the vet records sent. This is illegal. I went back to Banfield, and they said the doctor was gone. I said I wanted to write a note, but the receptionist at Banfield pretended to write, asking, "What do you want to say?" She said she was just listening. I said, "It was illegal because I didn't ask or give permission." Banfield blamed the groomer and said to speak to her. I asked to speak to the groomer who was now in the back. The black girl was a good actress. While I stood there, saying nothing, she said, "I am not going to let you harass us," after she went in the back and came out: "We called the police." I wasn't speaking at all when she came out, after going to the back, and said, "We called the police." I told the manager what she said, and I wanted to speak to the police. He said, "She didn't call the police. She just said that." I said I was saying they should have said on the phone that they wanted a cardiologist to clear her to brush my dog's teeth. Cardio cl

Have been using banfield for our animals for years. Started going to this location last year and it’s been the most frustrating one I’ve been too. While the staff are usually great, it’s close to impossible to talk to someone when you try to call them. You sit on hold for over 30 minutes and no one ever comes back to the phone. This has happened so many times. Having a dog with cancer, I should be able to get ahold of someone there or actually receive a call back. Honestly considering changing locations.

They always take care of Lola. When the visit is over the Vet comes and explain everything and allow you to ask questions. I highly recommend Banfield Pet Hospital.
