Very disappointed with this bank due to their hours of operation. I’m a blue collar man who owns his own business. We need to have better access to the banking system then 10am to 4 pm. People like us can afford this time schedule.

I am a Bank of America customer since 1983 and have become very disappointed with the in-bank services. Come on, open from 10 am to 4 pm! So if you work during the day you are just out of luck.

Edited: thank you for the response. However, a small business cannot use the ATM to make a deposit and receive rolled coins and bills as part of the transaction. Nor can it enroll in direct deposit, or use the mobile banking app as you suggest. And what about customers who are not tech savvy?I'm saddened by the direction Bank of America has taken. Why have a brick and mortar bank when you treat customers like an online bank?Original post follows --If this review were for the employees it would be five stars. They are unfailingly kind and hard working. But this review is for the business and it gets the fewest stars possible. How can a bank only have one teller and make their customers wait in long lines? How can a bank only be open 10-4 Mon-Fri??!!??Maybe this bank only wants customers who can do all their business at an ATM. Apparently this bank has no interest in customers who work 9-5, or business customers who can't wait in long lines every time they come in.Take your banking business elsewhere. To a bank who cares about customers.

I have been a client of BOA for 25 years, mainly in Dallas, Texas.Since moving to Columbia, SC. I have never experienced such unprofessional, lazy & major attitudes, than I have experienced in a major corporation within this branch!!You have one teller, yet 5 other employees standing around!!! I came in on my lunch hour to get cash and preferred large bills. After being greeted and explaining what I came into the branch, the associate said that I had to wait in line!! In which had 7 people waiting in line with ONLY ONE TELLER!!! Once it was my turn the teller greeted me and asked me what I needed and she looked at me and stated that the indoor ATM gave out $100 bills and I could have used the ATM for my transaction. I looked at her & stated...then WHY did the associate not suggest that to me, instead of letting me wait 15/20 mins to make my transaction. In general how many times have you gone to a ATM and received $100 bills, so I did not know this was possible!!! Although, I have been a Loyal client with BOA for 25 years, because of the attitudes & lazy mentality of your employees at BOA in South Carolina!! I am changing banks and removing my large sum of money to another bank!!!The employees at your Columbia, SC branches are lazy and an embarrassment to BOA!!!

Yesterday I went through the drive through ATM to make a deposit as I do often. The machine did a complete reboot during my deposit and not only did it take my card but the money as well. No receipt, nothing. I went into the branch and was told they could do nothing. I had no idea they don't even service the machines outside of the building. I never moved my car from the ATM so I went back to my car and called the support number they provided and spent about a hour on the phone with someone filing a claim on the money the machine took. The agent assured me the money would be back into my account the next day because they would be able to verify my card and the additional funds. Called today to check the status and was told it would take up to 10 days to receive my funds. This was a cash deposit so basically their machine stole my cash and the lack of customer service is punishing me for their faulty equipment. I will never use those machines again I don't care how convenient they may be because if something happens your stuck. Your completely at their mercy. Having a person at a drive through is far better than those machines. Please beware! Don't deposit cash into those ATM's.

The worst ever customer service and incompetence I've ever seen in my life. Didn't know policy or procedures for closing account. Entire branch is lost and needs to go back to day one training instead of making ish up as they go along. Five visits later and issue still has to be by another manager because they're too stupid to use their resources. I'm ever going to bank there again and it's only a stone's throw away from my house. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional liars!!!!! Complaint filed ...DONE!!!!!

I'm surprised by the recent negative reviews of this location. My experience here has always been great. Perhaps the earlier you go, the better their service is. The greeter (an African American lady, I don't remember her name) was so understanding when I said what brought me in was a wire transfer and I didn't know a large transfer could be done without wire as long as both accounts are BoA. Even better, they didn't charge me a penny. Thank you Ms. Michelle and Ms. Rhonda for your help. I wasn't aware that my choice of identification was set as passport (or that I even had one). Ms. Rhonda stepped in and made sure to approve the transfer. She took the time to explain to me why I was asked if I had my passport on hand and that I could set up a future meeting to have it changed to my driver's license.

Who came up with new design. My location closed, have to drive further. To wait in a longer line. Then I watch as employee show favoritism to those who they know.As a business owner I don't have the time to spend the afternoon to do banking.
