Came to make a simple deposit. 5 people in the lobby and 3 of them at the counter. There was 2 cars in the drive thru. Looked like maybe one teller was working and the other was learning. Loan officer was dancing all around behind the counter from one spot to the next, all while the "branch leader" was behind closed doors.Stood there for over 10 min not even acknowledged. This is by far the worst bank I've ever encountered.

I was waiting in line since 3:45pm as they close at 4pm now, at 4:01 I pull up to the window after waiting in line and was told they were closed. After explaining that I was here before 4pm, they decided to make an exception. I know they were frustrated with me but I just wanted to leave a review noting how grateful I am for this location and their representatives!

If I could rate zero star I would. I don't know what happen to the previous staff but the staff they have now is rude. As I walked in 3 tellers are behind the counter. 2 are talking too loudly about what should have taken place behind close doors. No one wants to hear about another customer's business. They announced names and the nature of their business. You don't know who knows who. I know the names of the customers they called out and how much money that customer has in her account.The other elderly lady is working waiting on customers. They looked at me said someone will be right with you while she gets on the phone and the other gets on the computer. They were rude and unpleasant. I had called my change order in before 9. I got there at 9:20 change order still wasn't ready. I finally was waiting on by the sweet elderly woman whom seems to be the only one of the ladies that was working. When ask what I had the rude lady that was on the computer scolded at her like she was a child. Those 2 women needs to go to a professionalism class before they work with the public.

Really welcoming when they make you wait to see a teller until they finish their personal conversation. We had to stand there and listen to their family issues before we could conduct our business. This was our 2nd bank to have in case our primary was not in the area. No more. Moving to First National of PA.

I have been a customer for over 15 years. Now they cannot get basic things done like get an address change. I have been to a location 4 times to try and make this happen and now they want me to go again.

Worst banking experience I've ever had I've been a member of BB&T for 4 years & I've never been treated this way before. Your banks are very eloquent, very cordial, & very customer service friendly. But this Branch had none of the above. I was waiting to be served by a banking specialist because of some discrepancies with my account(s). The young lady came out of her office and said, "I'm an operations manager" so somebody else will be handling you. She pointed me to Reginald, who didn't help me with my problem either. And looked at me with a very rude glare, when I had an additional question to ask him. The members of this Branch was very curt, abrasive, & very customer service unfriendly. I'm in the business of professional customer service. I work with high-level corporate clients & I've never ever treated my customers the way I have been treated so poorly. My suggestion is that they make some changes at the Garners Ferry Road BB&T Branch. Starting with the operations manager on down.

I despise BB&T, locations and the bank as a whole. You'll see why. I've had personal and business accounts with them. Their customer service (95% of the time) is absolutely shameful. They are also one of the few banks that charge people ($8 DOLLARS) to cash checks against their members if they are not an account holder themselves. You definitely don't want to pay employees with checks from these guys.

This particular branch of BB&T operates unprofessionally and undutifuly, in a recent attempt to operate a private and business account here I was blatantly discriminated against. I was reported the the fraud department and denied access to my funds. I had previously had two successful wire transfers deposited into my accounts for a couple thousand dollars, then when I tried processing a paper check for several more thousand dollars I was first told my funds were available then when I went to move money from my accounts I was immediately reported to the fraud department. Employee Bama of this branch was then notified by the employeers bank, who wrote the check and where the check was drawn that the check was valid and funds were available and she continued to be unprofessional, interrupting so much to the point that the other bank hung up. I am conscienced that she was directly involved in reporting my hard earn money /payment and teansactions to the branched fraud department. When I spoke with the fraud department I was interrogated and belittled about why my business and the employers business was transacted yhe way it was and I was told that a decision had been made and I would not have access to my funds until the investigations were complete. I suggest this bank change their banking practices, as they will have many many more law suits for discrimination. Other details have not been disclosed as I am so tired of typing this review and it is way to much to go into at this time and juncture. However, you will here from me again!
