LADIES BEWARE!!THEY HAVE MAKE ASSOCIATES WORKING IN THE LADIES INTIMATE APPARELS SECTION THAT LIKE TO WALK INTO DRESSING ROOMS WITHOUT KNOCKING. I'VE REPORTED THIS INCIDENT TO CORPORATE AND GOTTEN AN APOLOGY? REGARDLESS IT'LL BE A VERY LONG TIME BEFORE I SHOP IN PERSON ANYWHERE, ANYTIME SOON. BELOW IS MY FULL ACCOUNT IN DETAIL. IT'S BEEN ABOUT 4 WEEKS SINCE THE INCIDENT HAPPENED BUT I'M STILL VERY MUCH TRAUMATIZED AND DISAPPOINTED. THIS POST IS TO PREVENT ANYONE ELSE FROM EXPERIENCING WHAT I HAVE.Bealls Outlet6646 Garners Ferry RoadColumbia, SC 29209To whom it may concern:Saturday, July 15th, approximately 12:30 -1:30 p.m. a Bealls associate by the name of Terrence walked in on me in the Ladies fitting room while I was trying on bras. I was topless. I closed the door and yelled, "you could have knocked!!" When I was ready to check out, as I was waiting in line he(Terrance) offered to check me out which made me very uncomfortable and a bit intimidated because he had just saw me without any clothes on the top half of my body.While checking out I questioned him as to why he would not knock on a closed fitting room door? He was instantly defensive saying, "You should've locked it and I already apologized" (which he had not). His demeanor lacked any empathy or remorse whatsoever. I told him that I would not be going back and forth with him and I exited the store and proceeded to call corporate to inform them of what happened. The customer service representative advised that she would notify the manager and that someone would be following up with me very soon.Monday, July 17th I received a call from the store manager S. Johnson, who while very apologetic made excuses for her employee and advised that they would be speaking with him and that her boss should be calling me later on that day.After 4pm EST I received a call from District Manager, Yasmean. She too apologized on the behalf of the associate and for the company as well and asked me what I would like to happen. I advised her that if it were up to me he would no longer be working there. His negligence is a liability to the company not to mention if he did it this time who's to say that it won't happen again.She explained how they intend to give him a coaching-handling the situation according to a company guidelines but she was not able to disclose the details of what that would be. Which was fine with me because that's not my business to know so I understood.I mentioned to her that it would be very uncomfortable for me to continue going to that store with him still being there to which she suggested that I shop at another one of the store's locations.Honestly speaking I wasn't sure of how to interpret the conversation between us. She asked what I would like to happen but then disregarded what I said. The call for me felt like more of a formality versus an attempt to resolve the situation or provide any kind of reassurance that this matter was being taken seriously. I also mentioned that I may consider taking legal action to which she replied, "If that's what you feel you need to do."This email is to inform the corporation, in writing, of what transpired. I'm very much disappointed and appalled with this situation in it's entirety. This was my very first visit at this establishment and I don't know what to make of my experience as I have never encountered anything like this before.

Burkes is the BEST place for bargain shopping. I can find quality jeans, work blouses, and jewelry at Burkes. And you can earn coupons quickly with Burkes loyalty program. I am obsessed with Burkes.

I just visited the store and I liked it, it’s clean and even the poor inventory, I found some good stuff. The system had a problem that did not register the transaction. We know that it was not the cashier’s fault, she was Colombian girl who gave us an excellent service and was very friendly and helpful. I can't say the same about her colleagues and supervisor, not even a "hello" did they give us. I notice that this cashier is treated badly or minimized in her work area, she also said that too!!!A piece of advise: If you don't like working with people from other countries, better not work for the public. My five stars are for that Colombian employee! God bless you and I hope you find a better job with better people!
