The Best Western executive in Columbia is not a good value proposition because it’s neither
Executive nor 3 stars or even 2.5.
The receptionist on 6/11/2025 afternoon had a vibe of someone who is tired of life.
Though the old hotel was as clean as old place can be, our room smelled like a mix of (old?) cigarettes smoke and pee.
I had to clean the a/c filter since they weren’t clean in months.
The bathroom fan doesn’t work that’s probably why the ceiling and wall are peeling in different places, the mirror fogs and the door is bloated.
The bed looked like an amateur made it.
No noise proofing - you hear the road, which thankfully pretty much dies down at night, and the slightest noise from the corridor. - and of course they put the few guests they had all in the same corridor! (The huge under door gap doesn’t help…).
The TV, with limited channels, lost connection frequently.
The meager Breakfast is only till 9:00 (!) - and they don’t waste a minute to take it away.
Coffee was decent but there were no cream-cheese, no hard boiled eggs, no plain yogurt and no microwave.
The gym has no dumbbells nor a mat.
The WiFi didn’t work with VPN (and I wouldn’t try it without one…).
On the bright side, the individual (love it) toiletries are of healthy ingredients and the shower had good, strong hot water.

Had a amazing stay here at this location, front desk provided me with excellent service rooms are nice and the pool feels good I will definitely be back!

The room was good. A couple vending machines were out of order and the location turned out to be a little inconvenient. However, overall it was a good experience.

Horrible room, the carpet smelled like smelly gym socks, the door had gaps that allowed light and noise to seep in. Other guests were being very loud from 8pm until 11pm on a Saturday. Front desk was called but were unable to remedy the situation. DO NOT RECOMMEND. The microwave was probably from the 90's and sounded like a jet and did not heat up food properly.

Right off the highway, fairly easy access. At checkin, staff were rude, and frankly unaccommodating. Refused to honor military discount even though Best Westerns website shows they offer one. Brushed us off when we had concerns regarding handicap accessibility, and safety concerns. Upon initial inspection, room does seem clean and kept.

Every nice management and staff. Breakfast was ok. The room was clean. The only thing I had a problem with was the room door, there is a big gap between the door and the door frame. The gap was big enough to see the hallway at night. Other than that, our stay was great.

There is a waste treatment facility literally right next door to this hotel. It smells absolutely disgusting in the evening. There was no shower curtain in my bathroom, when I mentioned it to the front desk worker she said she would go get me one, as if she expected me to install it. Unacceptable.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I was upgraded from a King room to a King Suite when I checked in, which was a very nice gesture. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was simple, but adequate. I was attending an event at the nearby Hilton Doubletree and saw rooms at both the Doubletree and the nearby Sleep Inn. I felt that my room at the Best Western was nicer than either of the rooms I saw at the Doubletree or the Sleep Inn.

We stayed here due to conference we were attending. The staff are super friendly and rooms were clean. Very attentive and helpful we will be back.

Had to stay for a work trip and the front desk managers were very kind and easy to talk to. They were able to assist with needs promptly. The room was so clean. One of the cleanest hotel experiences I have ever had. I would recommend anyone to stay here in the area!
