Scott & Jacob were incredibly kind and knowledgeable when I brought my first and favorite bike, Jem, into the shop, a vintage Panasonic from the 80s that has been a patchwork of the love & labor of many mechanics over the years. Not only did they help me map out safe bike routes to work and invite me into the Collective community rides, but Scott creatively repurposed the functional, aesthetically pleasing parts of the 2nd Canondale from the 90s in the repair to create a beautiful, smooth vintage ride. “I purchased a Cannondale hybrid bike from The Cycle Center after shopping multiple local bike shops, and several other shops and sports retailers online. They offered the best deal, and surprisingly were the only Cannondale dealer within a 2-hour drive that had inventory in their store I could actually see and try. They allowed me to try out multiple bike sizes, and took the time to make repeated adjustments to try to make the fit as good as possible. After I made my purchase, I rode around the nearby USC campus that I used to walk around during lunch for years. Upon my return to the store, the owner was helpful in getting my new bike into my Honda Civic. I've purchased helmets and minor parts from them before, but this was my first major purchase from them (or anyone). I would recommend them to friends. :)”
