We love Camp Bow Wow. The name can’t be said in my house without my dogs going crazy. We have 2 dogs that know, as soon as we pull on the street, where they’re going, and go crazy. Staff is friendly, but most importantly, my dogs are happy.

We brought our pup here and it’s good. People are nice, facility is nice. The only thing that makes me cringe when I watch the live feed is the fact that they only have one person with like 10-15 dogs. That makes me really nervous if something were to happen like a fight or something. Other than that, we have had nothing but a great experience.

I had previously given them a 1 star review due to an issue with one of the employees, and when I reached out to the manager/owner (not positive which one I spoke to) to simply ask about their policies regarding this incident, he was disgustingly rude and denied any wrongdoings (even though there was video evidence showing otherwise). However, I recently decided to give them a second chance, when my go to daycare was full, and wanted to change my review. I’m not sure if they’re under new management or just have some happier employees, but it’s been eons better than the first time and my dog actually seems to enjoy himself at daycare now.

We LOVE Camp Bow Wow! Most dog boarding places the dog stays in a kennel all day with an hour of yard time and then are let out to be fed and walked. When we go away I did not want to punish my dog but being stuck in a cage all day. Camp Bow Wow is great! The dogs are out ALL DAY and you can check in on them through their live cameras. I love being able to check in on my dog, it allows me to enjoy my vacation more. Also the Staff is GREAT! They respond super quick, they are extremely friendly and send me picture updates when they give my dog the froyo at night which she loves. I cant thank Camp Bow Wow enough for taking care of our fur baby. They are the best!

We love Camp Bow Wow, and while we don't love having to drop our pup off, it's always nice to know the people at CBW will take very good care of him while we are gone. We take great comfort knowing that he is able to run and play, and no be cooped up all day long!

Went for the "interview", expected to show up at 6:45am which is a bit difficult, but my dog was accepted. A couple weeks later I took her in for her first boarding there and she was terrified to go in and cried when I left which raised a flag in my mind but I let her go anyway. At previous kennels she's usually excited to go in and stay. My dog is 11 and has been boarded at various kennels throughout her life but after her first overnight stay at this Camp bow wow she contracted kennel cough for the first time ever 7-10 days after boarding. They also forgot to feed her dinner so she went 24 hours (Friday AM - Saturday AM) without being fed, totally unacceptable. The facility is not that big for the number of dogs I observed there in person and on cameras. The doggy day camp area my dog was in looked overcrowded and there was only one attendant. They only have standard, various sized kennels. There are no quieter areas for small dogs or suites offering a more pampered stay which is unfortunate. It's a good location to downtown and close to my work but will not be returning unless I'm in a hole and it'll be a last resort.

I normally write good reviews not poor ones. This manager at camp bow wow in Columbia SC is very unreasonable and does not logically work with customers. Too much detail to explain here but having managed 5 star hotels world wide I can say that she is not caring to help new clients.

I often write very positive reviews because I believe people and business eases deserve to be recognized. Other than this one, I can think of only one other negative review. This manager is very non-customer driven. She digs in her heels with her policy. Take it or leave it attitude. She insisted on an interview from 7-7:30 am. We could not arrive before 10 am. Fifteen other dog day care facilities have figured out how to manage this situation. Have new puppies meet others one at a time yo see how they play. But no, this manager can't do that. "It's our policy". A very successful business leader is quoted as telling his employees. "If any of our rules, regulations, policies or procedures get in the way of taking care of customers Break The Rule". And figure it out. She did not even try.

Our pup, Ginger, loves camp bow wow! She’s a day camper and a boarder and loves both. For boarding you can add on nighttime treats and one on one time. Staff send us photos from enrichment activities in addition to being able to see her on video in the play yard. She loves seeing all the other pups and people; for a well socialized dog, the social aspect of camp is so much better than leaving them all alone and having someone check on them in your house while you’re away for the day (or longer). Ginger’s so happy each time we pull up to drop her off that I never have any hesitation leaving her with the great staff at CBW.

Hannah is incredibly rude and dismissive. I called to schedule a boarding appointment for the following week. She said I needed to bring my dog in for a visit before they could book the boarding reservation since it had been awhile since my dog had been there. She told me to drop him off the next morning and he would need to stay until at least until 2 or 2:30p. Those were the only instructions about the visit. At 8:15am the next morning when I tried to drop him off she greeted us with a very fake “hi, you were supposed to be here at 7am so we cancelled the visit today.” I was shocked, she was so flippant about it. I had told her we needed the boarding reservation for Monday the following week and this was Friday so she was effectively canceling the boarding. I was furious. She NEVER said drop him off by 7a. If so, I would have asked if it was possible to drop him off later. I would never have been able to make a drop off arhat early so I wouldn’t have agreed! Now because I was just over an hour later than the drop off time she never told me about they canceled my reservation, didn’t call or email me and certainly didn’t offer to try to work with me to solve a big problem she’s now created for me. When I turned around to walk out she was giggling. I’ve never experienced such disrespectful dismissive attitude from someone who works at a service company. I’ve read some of the other negative reviews now because of my interaction and they seem on par. Beware.

My dogs love Camp Bow wow fort mill. So when we moved to Columbia we were excited to see another location and get my pups in. Unfortunately Frank the owner is extremely tough to work with. When I tried to get my dogs in he said they had to come at 7am for a pre-visit, which I totally understand. Unfortunately I couldn't make the particular day work with his schedule-- instead of trying to work with me on scheduling another day Frank proceeded to hang up on me.. I was shocked. Tried to call back multiple times to speak with him and fix this and he screened my calls. Fast forward a few months tried to get my dogs in again and Frank placed a BLOCK on my account with Camp bow wow. Shocked and saddened by how rude this whole experience has been. The lack of customer service is a shame. I just wanted my dogs to have a familiar experience unfortunately Franks poor attitude is getting in the way of that. I hope he can learn that you can't treat customers let alone people so poorly and expect to no one to hear about it... such a shame. Do not recommend this location to anyone.
