Lenora is a wonderful stylist. I see her every week. She consistently does a super job. She is alway on time and friendly. She will do whatever you want and always to my liking. She is never in a rush. I would vote for her as stylist of the year! I just love her😀

Arrived at 3:40pm Monday. Stylist said someone would be right with us. 2 customers complete their service and leave. 1 stylist has no one in her chair. We waited for 10 more minutes. The stylist finally approached and said no one could get to him at the time, because they both had color to do and he'd have to wait. Stylist then stated she had a customer coming in the door...no one entered. I repeated her statement, she says her client was in the parking lot. I looked outside, no one pulling up, getting out or coming in. If I'm not mistaken, it's first available and they take walk-ins. Considering the fact that we sat for 10minutes, AFTER her previous client exited and she was available, there was time to fade/trim the sides and back of my sons hair. We went outside and waited 10min... No one pulled up or walked in. I reentered and requested to speak with the stylist. She had literally just started coloring/highlighting (2nd strand) a young lady (whom came in the back door and turned out to be her daughter). We exchanged words, and the daughter chimes in and states that I'm trying to make it a racially biased situation. I then informed her that the convo was between me and the stylist. The stylist stated that she couldn't do her clients hair and discuss this, so I should talk to the assistant manager. Therefore, I did. We walked to the front and I expressed my concerns. I understand appointments and if her client had come in while we were waiting, no problem. The mere fact that she waited for her client to arrive, instead of seeing the clients in the waiting area, was wrong. Now if she didn't know how to cut black hair, (in which i had to explain to him the difference in how it's done) all she had to do was say so from the very beginning. She could've said "Ma'am I'm sorry and I apologize, but I'm not well trained or more experienced in cutting his texture of hair." No problem and we could've left at 4. I wouldn't have been mad or even upset.When we walked in, my first thought was there may not be anyone who is accustomed to doing/trimming his hair. But instead of categorizing and just assuming so, we sat down. I explained to the manager, all we needed was honesty. If you can't or don't know how... JUST SAY SO. Be truthful about it, so that I'm not wasting my time. Saying you're not experienced enough isn't an excuse to not wait on customers of different ethnicity, but it does show the disparity in service and the willingness to serve the public regardless of ethnicity. My son stated the first stylist that greeted him said she really didn't know how, but she would try, but she had someone in her chair. I appreciate the assistant manager and the other stylist addressing the situation and offering an apology (⭐). And for their sincerity, I'll give 2 stars...

I feel like girl who cut my hair was in a rush and did not put any thought or care into the look. She took 10 minutes and said done. Would not recommend unless you want quick and cheap look!
