Dollar General is considered the best dollar store around Columbia. The manager is really solid, helpful, and nice to everyone. Customers report AMAZING and super helpful customer service, with staff kindly explaining the coupon system. The staff are very friendly, great at helping customers, and include an ultimate professional employee. However, the air conditioning does not work, making the store extremely hot. Despite this, many customers plan to shop there more often and will definitely be back.
Cashier was very nice. Products can be rather pricy, but that's a corporate-level issue, not the stores fault.
