I used to shop at Express ALL THE TIME! Spent thousands of dollars. Now the clothes are mostly unwearable. The store is a hot mess and filthy. Everything is thrown all over the place, nothing is folded and the employees look like they just crawled out of bed. I used to work there and we had to dress in nice suits and have our hair and makeup looking good at all times. I went online and made sure they had the jeans I wanted in stock today and when I walked in they told me there are none in the entire country to even ship to me. Funny because I go online now and it still says available at this location for pickup same day. This place has dropped off 100%. I'm so sad...

I had the displeasure of dealing with the manager Brianna today. Brought a couple of sale items online. I was trying to return them with the receipt. I return things at the store in the past with no problems. She said they do not do returns on clearance items. I explained Micheal just did one about a week ago in your store he wasn’t supposed to that was her response. She also gave me a bag and told me that I can mail it back. I think she could’ve handled this a little bit better considering that I’ve done it in the past with her employees. I called the one 800 number and they said it’s the managers discretion and I can mail it back with no problem. I’m wondering if I was a white woman would she have handled it the same way?

I do not recommend anyone shop here. I was shopping for a black dress and stopped by another store in the mall where my daughter works, she didn’t have anything for me there, so she recommended Express to me. I stood there while she called Express, told them that I was on my way to their store, a description of me, what I was looking for, and that I would need help when I arrived. I have very little experience shopping in store, so I appreciate help when doing so. I walked in and was not greeted, the only employee I saw was folding t-shirts. He had AirPods in his ears and did not even look up at me. I was not helped at all! It’s not hard to greet someone or ask if they need help finding anything. I am beyond disappointed.
