I had a pretty bad customer service experience this week. I went in to get an oil change- I didn’t have an appointment but I called in the morning to ask if I could drop off, to which the front desk manager said yes. When I went in to drop off they said they couldn't fit me in. It was inconvenient, but I understood. I made an appointment for two days later. I show up to my appointment and no one was at the desk for 15+ minutes! I had to go to work, so I left and took my business elsewhere.

I took my car in and got it worse than when I dropped it off for lifetime alignment plus the people were rude to me when I tried to pick it up. Then when I asked to see MY paperwork for the alignment they pretended it got lost and gave me one without my name at the top. I will never use the Firestone on gervais in Columbia ever again! Due to this alignment the next day I got in and hit my neighbors telephone pole! This is why I hate big box chains because they don’t care about the auto we all they care about is money and since it was a lifetime alignment it’s ok to take allll day when you said it wouldn’t and then make it worse than before. I will never return to this location and I’m checking out competitors.

Firestone saved me today! We punctured our tire while driving back from vacation. Firestone was able to replace the tire in less than an hour. Frieda is amazing, she truly cares about customers and knows what she’s doing. She was able to ensure they had my tire size in stock and told us to head over. Her service was greatly appreciated and she made a dangerous and stressful situation easy. Thank you!

I left my old Matrix in the parking lot late the night before. I had it towed there following a double blowout down the street. I hit something in the road during a rain storm. The morning staff person called me early and I got back with her that morning to confirm the replacement of four tires and purchase of a lifetime alignment. Even thought I tend to hold onto tires as long as possible, I decided to replace the two extra other tires because another store had warned me about them the year before and it's great to have four new tires at the same time, especially when they come at a discounted price. Another Firestone had told me the previous year that I didn't need an alignment but I knew I did this time and getting the lifetime alignment for that vehicle, for just $80 more on special, made perfect sense. I always recommend a lifetime alignment for anyone who plans on keeping their vehicle for a while.
When I picked the car up, a second staff person showed me the alignment measurement sheet and checked me out quickly. I always use my Firestone card and I appreciate those points that I accumulate by using the Mastercard. Over the last several years those points have purchased me a number of tires and numerous oil changes, etc. for two vehicles.

Service writer at the front was more concerned about upselling me while checking me in for an appointment than actually double checking inventories and that the tires chosen were indeed correct for my vehicle. Then had to sit in the waiting room for over 2hrs after my scheduled appointment time for the actual sweetheart of a mechanic to come tell me they did not have the tires I needed in stock and I would need to come back another day. I am only giving the second star to that man, I wish I would have gotten his name.

Took my vehicle here to get an alignment early one morning and was told it would be done in a couple of hours, I come back around closing time and they said my vehicle didn’t get worked on. Now I’m left with no transportation for work tomorrow

I was in Columbia for my son's USC orientation and got a hole in my tire. Dante was so professional and helpful. He could not get my tire same day, but found another dealer that had one and called ahead for me. Great customer service that made a difference on what could have been a horrible day!! Thank you!! ?

They had my car for 5 days and my issue was windshield motor in the front. Then, I did agree with the charges since I was without my primary vehicle. I already incur cost for an alternative mode of transportation.

Absolutely awful experience.
We go and get our car after a simple tire change of our two back tires because one of them was popped. Over the course of the day they ask us if we wanted to do some other work on the car while they were at it and we said yes. No issue there, but it totaled all in about $600.
We then go to get the car this morning to find out after we paid and began driving away that one of our front tires was completely popped. Turns out a worker had driven the car and hit the curb and just didn’t replace it or tell anybody. Then I come to learn that they didn’t even replace both back tires.
You would think that after paying 600 that there wouldn’t be ADDITIONAL problems added to your vehicle.
DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE

For over a year, this location (Gervais Street) has had a very poor track record of keeping appointments -- once I am there, I have to reschedule. Yesterday, I waited over 20 minutes and no one ever came to the desk. At that point, there were 4 other people waiting behind me. The guy in the waiting area said he had been waiting over 2 hours for a tire patch. Either get your staffing to where it should be or don't schedule so many appointments. It is not rocket science. I just rescheduled with the Garners Ferry location where I have never been cancelled on.
