I stopped in at this Guitar Center yesterday to ask a manager if this location bought used gear. The manager said yes, usually a slightly lower price than Reverb… So I make an hour trip there the next day (today) and a zit faced kid informs me they’re not doing buybacks because they don’t have cash in store. Which was contrary to what I was told the day before. Not to mention that the practice amp I was looking to sell was purchased there. I had also upgraded and purchased a 40 watt tube amp from there. Thanks Guitar Center. It’s no wonder locals prefer Sims or shopping online with Sweetwater

I just left the store about 30 minutes ago. I walked into the store expecting to purchase a complete sound system for my restaurant. I spent a good amount of time looking at the mixers and speakers and went to the register to ask for some help, there were 2 people there and I asked for assistance at the speakers. Instead of walking with me to the speaker setup, the associate just played a clip off his phone on a certain speaker. I went back to the speakers thinking that someone would come by to give assistance, no one showed up after a while. As I was going over to another section I noticed the same 2 people just sitting down at the register doing nothing. If they were not qualified they could have reffered me to another associate. Terrible, TERRIBLE experience here. To think that I was in here a few years ago and someone persuaded me to buy some ALTO speakers even though I was just looking around. I went back thinking I would get the same customer service, apparently looking at the reviews it's nonexistent.

Walked in and there were 2 clerks at counter. They looked unkempt and their uniforms or shirts looked like they needed replacement. They never said hello as we walked right pass them. We walked around trying to find acoustic guitars, again we were ignored. There were 4 maybe more salesmen and they stayed as far away from us as possible. We finally found the room they kept the acoustic guitars. We were in there for close to an hour and absolutely no one came in to help. No one said anything when we left. I went in to purchase a particular guitar that was on a one day sale. It took me about 15 minutes to even find it and then we looked at other guitars. I made no purchase and I most likely never will, no matter how good the deal .

I was going to post my own review about my disappointment with the cleanliness, boxes everywhere, dust, employees unhappy about working for their company (per their conversation while I was walking the store), nothing arranged well.......but Larry Norman's review from 7 months ago was spot on. At least they're consistent.I wasn't able to find any lavaliere mics, and transmitters, but perhaps those are not carried here. I don't know.

Always a good time up at guitar center. Never disappointed. If yall could find me a jackson dk3m dinky satin black, let me know. Mine was stolen years ago and i was one of the first people to own one. Now theyre discontinued. Smh

They were very helpful and knowledgeable in helping us diagnose a feedback and resonance issue we were having with two guitars we were using for our show.

Came with Classic Guitar and had one string missing, they fixed it quickly and even taught us how to tone the Guitar by earHighly Recommended!

They let too many kids play the guitars many are scratched and they buy rejects from the company's blemishes Etc not a great guitar store to shop trust me as a musician for 60 years not all Guitar Centers are the same depends on management!! On top of that I offered them $299 for a Jackson JS 32 Q with scratches and blemishes he wouldn't budge lack of management shows you I could order one from Sweetwater in mint condition!!!! same price!! idiots rule just all my friends and musical business don't shop here go to Greenville much better management

Every time I go into this store I leave with a bad experience. This time I managed to get the attention of one (of the many) employees to help me. When he couldn't find what I needed he left to find someone who could better assist except he never came back. I went to look for him but he was helping someone else. I went up to three guys that were just standing around (they instantly scattered) and got one to start to help me but then he passed me off to another person who had just walked up. I've never seen anything like this in a retail environment! Then when I came up to purchase my items the cashier that had been available left. Just turned and walked away. There are so many employees (way more that how many customers are shopping) but getting any assistance at all is always like pulling teeth. It's ridiculous, I hate when the local owed music shop, down the street, doesn't have what I need and I have to go here instead because it's always a terrible experience at Guitar Center!
