It's sad when they disregarded what the Doctor office calls in and chose to fill what they want you to have. Doctors office called in refills they decided because I didn't need it refill the last time because I still had some of that one that they would not refill it when the doctor told them to do a refill? Why? It's not up to them if the doctor says it needed a refill then fill it!

They never send out medication on time. Its scary that I have to give the people providing my kids medication a bad review. This month they are 10-days late does include the fact that they haven't even prepared it which means by the time I receive it they are about 13days late. Please add new staff I'm not sure what issue they have with me but we are not getting the meds on time every month different story its dangerous that I have to give them a baby review and they are the people making his medication. Please help

I don’t ever give bad reviews but I’m pretty disappointed. I was given the wrong dosage of my medication and when I called the pharmacy to let them know they said they’d fill the correct dosage but would not give me a refund on the one I took home. Seems underhanded to charge over 200 dollars for a mistake that wasn’t my fault. Double check your dosages (on the bag AND the bottle) before you leave!

The professionalism is definitely lacking. My mother informed me that she visited this store today, 6/16 for bladder support garments and upon being called on for assistance by Heath, a manager, he acted as if he had no idea what she was referring to and didn’t even bother to do a computer search or call another store for educational assistance, in the slight case that he didn’t know what she was referring too. Get some class, fast. Especially with the 4th right around the corner ?. She received phenomenal service once from a young lady at this location but there is definitely always one.She called the Sunset location and the associate did a search and was able to assist her! She’s so grateful for that!

For the last two years, Ms. Sandy has been taking care of all my needs regarding my CPAP machine. She’s absolutely the best! No issues, always helpful, and a gem to interact with! Every time I recommend Hawthorne’s, I use her name.

The staff is friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. I have never had any problems here. My prescriptions are always made ready in a timely fashion.

If I could do ZERO stars I would. TERRIBLE PHARMACY!!! Rude and absolutely USELESS staff. No price transparency whatsoever just lots of SURPRISE CHARGES. All about money --- really don't care to help you. Lie about what's covered with insurance. HORRENDOUS BUSINESS. Do not go here!

A very friendly staff. Always greeted by my name. THIS is your friendly neighborhood, Pharmacy.It's worth paying the little bit more money than Walgreens or CVS, and they keep everything stocked.... Watch, now that I said that, they won't have my medication in stock next time. Murphy's Law.

All the folks at Hawthorne Pharmacy have been so friendly and kind! My experience has been that they go over and beyond as far as answering questions, requests and accuracy. My Rx's are always ready on time.

Not the worst but not the best either. My son has sickle cell he will be taking medication for some years. Most of his prescriptions says 30 refills. I just couldn't seem to understand why the didn't just automatically fill the prescription on the 30day and send it out. I had to call every month. Some months I would ask how come my son isn't on automatic list they would say something about insurance I would contact insurance than Hawthorne would tell me oh well got things cleared away after my son medication is 5-7 days late. Thank my question is why is it you all day there's an isdue with insurance alnist every month the insurance company always measures me that there are no issues on that end. Its not look to argue with the people fixing my son medication so decide to switch to another provider bad customer service.

Great and helpful staff! I am a student at University of South Carolina so I was new to finding a pharmacy around the area. Knowing that I would most likely have issues with my insurance and medications at some point I wanted a less corporate pharmacy so I landed on Hawthorne. I'm very glad I chose them! I can only speak on the medications part of the pharmacy not medical equipment, but I have found all the staff to be very helpful and kind. Pharmacist Wesley in particular went above and beyond for about a month long period going between my doctor and insurance company to try and get a copay down. CON: The only downside is that I wish their weekend hours were a little more flexible, but I understand that everyone needs breaks. (Which is why I have not deducted a star for this. It's a pretty normal practice for smaller businesses around here)
