Hollywood Park is a jewel of the Hollywood Rose Hill neighborhood, a cute and well-kept park tucked away in the heart of downtown Columbia. It features large grassy areas, a cute little playground with large play areas and a sandbox, and a covered pavilion with picnic tables. The park offers wonderful shady areas with a fair amount of seating and is perfect for neighborhood events, reading, games, picnics, yoga, or walking. Dogs are allowed but must stay on a leash. Improvements include shade sails over the playground, perimeter tables, and a new water fountain. It is a very quiet place to enjoy outside, with an historic sign telling about the park's history.
