Understaffed. I Asked for help finding something, I couldn't find myself, to an associate wandering around and they said they "couldn't help me but would page someone" whom never came. After 15 minutes I walked the aisles and watched and counted 5 employees on their phones, not digital scanners but personal cell phones, and we're standing around. Left and went to lowes where I got better attention and service.. if you want to feel unwanted and helpless in your search for anything try this Home Depot you'll be utterly disappointed and frustrated with your search.

had the miserable experience of buying a washer and dryer from Samsung through home depot. it took 3 weeks to get it and it was for my 93-year-old homebound father. after 3 weeks of not having clean clothes it finally arrived but the dryer was destroyed it took another 3 weeks to get the dryer and when this one arrived it too was damaged but I had no choice to accept it because my father had to have some laundry. it was bent in the back so it was acceptable enough. home Depot

The store lied and said they install steel canopy. They assisted me in online order. Thensent me the link for pergo. They don't install the metal canopies and would like for Home Depot to stop referring people to them. Now I have a heavy paperweight in my yard. As a disabled Veteran I can't put this canopy up. They lied for the sale and now have an attitude because I'm asking for help.

Saturday, March 6, 2021, I went to this Home Depot with my 75-year-old father. We were looking to buy a grill. We looked around and spoke with the most wonderful assistant Michelle from the pickup area. She was so delightful and helpful. She noticed a blemish both my Dad and I missed and helped us out tremendously. Michelle if you read this or if anyone from Home Depot reads this, you have a great person in Michelle from the pickup area. Thank you!

While I like this store, I saw something a few days ago that I thought was very unprofessional. As I was browsing through the lighting section, I saw and heard an employee black female with short wavy hair and spoke with an accent on her cell phone having a personal conversation. At first, I thought it was a customer. I was surprised and disappointed. That should have been done away from the customers. Very unprofessional!

I am pretty sure Nan E is the nicest and most helpful associate I have ever met in a big box store! She was friendly, knowledge about the appliances we were looking to purchase and explained everything to us quickly and accurately. I will definitely return and ask for Nan.My only negative feedback is a frown face to Home Depot for not honoring Military Discount on appliances.

My wife and I have had a terrible experience with the Columbia, South Carolina Home Depot located at 285 Forum Drive Columbia SC 29229. We ordered a washing machine and dryer that was $1000.00 on July 3, 2019. We were told that the washer and dryer would be delivered on July 9, 2019. When the order was delivered, the washer was crushed and damaged. We were told that due to the damage, the company that Home Depot uses would reorder our machine and we would hear from them within 2-3 days. Well, the rest of the week went on and we did not hear from anyone. I called the Delivery Company and was assured that the new order was placed but when I spoke with Stanley at the Home Depot, he told me that no one placed the order. The new delivery date given to us was July 25th, 22 days after we purchased the machine. This is unacceptable. We spoke with with the GE Manufacturer, the delivery company, and Home Depot to see if there was anything else that could be done to expedite the delivery since the order was never put in during the week of July 9th. We were met with condescending and rude speaking by Flossy, the manager and was told (TWICE) that Kevin would call us back but he never did. We were waiting for weeks to receive our machine and had to wash our clothes at the Laundromat several times after we have spent 1000 on our own machine because (1) the machine was damaged and (2) no one reordered a replacement in a reasonable amount of time to cure to defect. After explaining this to the managers at the Home Depot, they did not care, they did not convey a sense of urgency, or a sense of understanding and merely offered nothing to compensate us for our inconvenience. The manager was rude and asked me "so you just want some money", which completely missed my point. No we were not looking for "free money", we were asking for someone to understand that the issue. We will NOT be purchasing from HomeDepot again.

My mom and I came here to pick up a few items prior to her departure heading back home. I frequent here often, as it is right by my home. The store is always well stocked and they carry all the items that I need.

I love Home Depot! I could spend a fortune in here. This location is located in the Sandhills shopping area. I feel safer at this location as oppoosed to Lowe's as there was some riff raff the last time we were at Lowe's. We purchased window blinds that needed to be cut to a custom size. The employee in that department was so helpful and professional. I'll be in several times a week now that I know where it is :)

The largest selection of light bulbs in this area can be found at Home Depot. Upon entering the well-lit and well-organized store, a friendly sales associate asked immediately how he could help. It is easy to park on the large parking lot.

we shopped here on black friday. there was sufficient staff posted throughout the store and all very helpful. before opening a man who i took to be the manager asked everyone that was waiting in line what they were going for and told them where exactly it was located. when i made a few unexpected purchaes because they had displays with great prices the workers got me a buggy and carried my large item for me without me having to ask for help. there were plenty of registers open and didnt have to wait for checkout. the customer service was on point first thing black friday. i will definitely come back after having the best experience!
