Had an absolutely fantastic experience with Jordan River, who helped me move from South Carolina to Oklahoma. Hunter and CJ in Columbia were perfect at organizing my move in SC, and Joseph and the Gibson Brothers were amazing at unloading my things in OK. From first assessments and quotes to the final placing of items, it was a smooth, positive experience. My things were delivered even quicker than anticipated, and they made it extremely easy to track everything. It was expensive, but 100000% worth the money. If/when I move again, I will absolutely use them again.

The movers were very thorough, efficient, and careful with our move. They managed to fit everything we needed to move in the truck. When we got to our new home, they patiently put everything exactly where we wanted it, even when we asked them to move a couple of things afterwards (when we changed our minds).
Would certainly recommend Jordan River to anyone planning to move.

Not satisfied. Broke our glass curio cabinet in the move as well as other sturdy pieces of furniture. Things packed unorganized & just thrown around. Honestly made our move 10x more stressful.
The only reason for the 2 stars is because the man helping us move in was friendly.

I recently had the pleasure of using Jordan River Moving Company for my relocation from Seattle to Atlanta, and I cannot express enough how impressed I was with their service. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of exceptional.
First and foremost, I was struck by their integrity and transparency. Unlike many other moving companies that try to exploit customers with hidden fees and charges, Jordan River provided a quote that was accurate and fair from the outset. There were no surprises or unexpected costs along the way, which was a huge relief.
The professionalism and dedication of the entire team were evident throughout the process. David, who assisted with the initial quote, was honest and transparent, providing me with confidence from the beginning. Emily, who handled the logistics of the move, was incredibly organized and communicative, ensuring that everything went smoothly. And Kevin, who oversaw the dispatch and delivery, took great care to ensure that all of my belongings arrived safely and without any damage.
I was also impressed by the packing and delivery personnel, who worked diligently to pack and disassemble my items, as well as assemble them upon delivery. Their attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction were truly commendable.
Overall, my experience with Jordan River Moving Company was outstanding. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of reliable and trustworthy movers. Thank you to the entire team for making my move a stress-free and successful one.

I used Jordan River Moving to relocate from Texas to Washington. The service provided was excellent. From the initial contact with Danielle I knew right away I would be using this company. I contacted multiple moving companies but I was highly impressed by her knowledge, she was the most helpful. The moving crew on both ends took such good care of my belongings. I would highly recommend using this company.

From the first contact with Jordan River, my experience was fantastic. All the employees demonstrated the highest degree of customer service excellence.
The Team at JR Moving & Storage did an amazing job of communication, took extreme care of my belongings on both the load and unload and the employees were polite and courteous.

One of the worst experiences with any company ever. Explained that I was being price gouged by PODS and I was hoping to work with a friendly company. I said I really needed their guidance as I was young and pregnant and didn’t know anything about moving.
They guided me into underestimating my weight, which in their contract means they will absolutely destroy you in overcharging. They don’t just mark up the weight an extra 19%, they mark up the shuttle (which doesn’t change size), and everything else too. Once the contracts are signed, they don’t care about you. Danielle dodged all my calls until I called from my husband's number, then she picked up right away, and when I called her on it she constructed a story about visiting someone in the hospital. For a whole week? Unlikely. And cruel to be that unkind to someone eight months pregnant and asking for your help. She felt bad enough to throw a 5% discount on our move. That did nothing to offset the price gouging that would have made PODS proud.
To add insult to injury, their movers pressured me into not checking the box numbers while unloading. By the end, I found two boxes with irreplaceable heirlooms (all our Christmas ornaments from generations ago, items from my grandmother) were missing. What did Jordan say? “We will keep an eye out.” HOW DO YOU LOSE BOXES? If you’re going to charge that much, you better be the best.
Jordan River, unfortunately as I have learned, is the absolute worst. You are better off choosing PODS.

Very impressed! John Carrol and his team sent me a text to say what time they would be arriving. They were very careful with my home contents and very efficient and polite.
I give them 5 stars!
