There are some wonderful teammates on the floor at this store, but this particular Customer Service counter is routinely unhelpful and apparently undertrained. One employee decided my online order problem was beyond her abilities and just put me on hold without a word. The second employee was ultimately equally unhelpful and placed me into an endless telephone hold loop (they would periodically pickup the line and immediately place me back on hold) with “Appliances”. The nearest Home Depot ended up resolving my problem and getting my money.I ordered an item online on 4 December 2023 for pickup on 8 December 2023. Lowe’s waited until the pickup date to send me a cancellation notice stating that the item was out of stock. The item still shows as available online (even as of the date of this review) and corporate’s customer service told me that there were 2 showing at the pickup location (Sam’s Crossing). Corporate transferred me to the pickup location’s customer service desk to sort it out since the cancellation was done at the store. I found them completely unhelpful, impatient, unwilling to resolve the problem and ultimately suggesting that I order again online. Online inventory continues to show the item available, but I have zero confidence in the process or that I will get any meaningful help when there is a problem.

I hadn't been to this location in a while, so today I decided to look around to see if they had any deals on the clearance shelves located in the back of the store. Lowe's advertises the items on the shelves as being up to 75% off but I found this to be false. Before I went to self-checkout, I even asked a store associate to do a price check for me as the item that I attempted to purchase was sitting on the clearance rack along with a few other badly damaged items that were the exact same item and brand. However, instead of the 75% that I was told by the sale associate I would receive, I was only offered a 15% discount, although the item was sitting on the clearance shelf taped up and in badly damaged condition. I decided not to purchase the item because there was no way for me to know for sure if all the items were in the box. If Lowe's places items on the clearance shelves, then they should actually be on clearance. I'm very disappointed with Lowe's practices and will likely be a while before I shop here again.

Customer service sucks! Needed a replacement window. Waited at their replacement window section for a few minutes an associate called for assistance for me. Waited a few more minutes an associate came to the section but did not acknowledge me she went to commuter and did something and left. I waited there for 15 minutes or more. No one came so I went to customer service and asked about the area where I needed assistance she called someone and she told me that the person that worked in that area was on lunch break and there was no one to do customer service while she's at lunch. So I went to Home Depot and was assisted immediately. I will never shop Lowe's again.!

The store manager has a horrible attitude acts like he doesn’t want to be at work taking a personal call while I’m trying to ask a question. Definitely will be taking my behind to Home Depot.

As a contractor, this is probably the worst Lowe's in Columbia. There are more people there doing nothing than anywhere I've ever seen. It's hard to imagine the small fortune I've lost in the amount of my time they've wasted. That's just the tip of the iceberg there. No standards.

I was looking for filters for air conditioning unit and could not find any . Employee stop to assist me. He took the time to check stock and saw some on upper shelf. Employee went get stair latter so get filters for me, I totally appreciate him assisting me, much appreciated!!! Thanks again!
