Although the membership wasn’t the right fit for me, I recently received a massage from Camille at the Harbison location and it was absolutely wonderful. From her introduction to goodbye, she radiated such beautiful, loving energy. Her massage was one of the best that I’ve ever had and she was incredibly attentive to make sure that I was as comfortable as I could be and getting exactly what I needed! Schedule a massage with her! You will not regret it!

I joined Massage Envy at the Sandhills location, which is closer to my house, after having an amazing experience here. I gave the Sandhills location a try and wound up coming back here. I choose to drive 40 minutes to come here because of how amazing the staff is here. The location is clean, the staff is polite, and the massages are great. I’ve had a massage from Shaun, Jennifer, Raquel, and Mikey and all of them have been wonderful. They’ve made sure to see what areas needed to be focused on, made sure to apply the right pressure and even answered questions without hesitation. That said, I do have to give a major shout out to Mikey. Mikey has been the primary person I’ve seen throughout my year as a member and he has been absolutely amazing. Mikey knew when I started that I had no prior massage experience and I was nervous. He asked what areas I wanted, explained the process and then even explained why certain areas like the lower back would hurt is because they have muscles that tie into your gluts and leg. I let him know that like, what I assume is most people, I just didn’t like the idea of gluts being massaged. He was respectful and informative and let me know that if you ever get a glut massage and the person isn’t using an elbow or a closed fist then there’s an issue and you should let the manager know. He answered multiple questions I had, always found a way to make small talk that you found interesting whether it was the latest news, theology, marvel, DC, etc he was always a pleasure to talk to, and this is coming from someone who isn’t a fan of small talk and will happily sit in silence lol. While the facility was amazing I have to be honest and say that Mikey was a major reason I came back and chose to drive the 40 minutes. He was professional, polite, knowledgeable, and personable and was an absolute joy to talk to.Overall:Facility: 10:10 (I almost never say that lol)Shaun: 9/10Jennifer: 9/10Raquel: 9/10Mikey: 12/10If you’re considering a massage, COME HERE!!!!!! If you don’t, well it’s your loss. And if a manager actually reads this (idk if it’s monitored) I can’t emphasize enough how amazing Mikey was!!!

Justin K did a AMAZING job!! Highly recommend him! I had a migraine for days that I could not get rid of and he knew exactly what to do to provide relief! Will for sure be booking again with him! Very professional & listened to the areas that needed the most attention.

I called 4 days before my appointment to cancel, they hung up in my face immediately, without taking for my name or anything. If I am charged for anything I will be doing a chargeback, as I documented the call. And I will never do business with them again!

If I could give them 0 stars, I wouldTo say that I am disappointed in this location would be an understatement. I made an appointment for today Jan 14 at 3pm. I received the text confirming yesterday and replied back with a Y. When I arrived to the appointment an HOUR early, I was told that my appointment had been cancelled and that there was nothing that could be done. This is BEYOND unacceptable.

It was my first time at Massage Envy and the staff was extremely welcoming and professional! I was greeted, offered water, and taken into a relaxing waiting area where I filled out some additional information about my custom massage. Jennifer, the massage therapist, was very professional and did a great job! The only thing missing — and this is just because ME is a large chain, it has nothing to do with this local site — is the “luxury” feeling of an independent spa. In turn, ME is also more affordable than most independent spas! So it’s great for first-timers or anyone looking to save a little money while also getting a great experience!

On Fathers Day I received a certificate for a massage from my kids. I was really looking forward to the massage all weekend. Kie - the assistant manager was so very nice. She told me that Mario normally does deep massage but was needing to rest due to the amount of strain on his body lately. She said he still can do a medium to firm massage. I was totally cool with that and just wanted to relax. Although once in the room Mario stated he could only do soft massages. I was still ok with that. After I went into the room with Mario, he asked me where my pain point was. I pointed to my sciatic section of my lower back. He showed me a black line in the chart and said Massage Envy doesn't allow us to go beyond this point - pointing to an area slightly above the sciatic. Again I was ok and just looking to relax. After starting the back massage, Mario was stopping roughly 5 inches above my sciatic, almost to my middle back. I asked if he could go a little lower. He stated "Just Like they do at (my place of employment" we have rules, if you ask again I am going to end the massage." I only asked the question once but was met with a semi-aggressive tone. I then stopped the massage. I was pretty freaked out that Mario knew my place of employment because I never shared it with him. He had to actually research me to know what I did for a living. Pretty weird. This was by far the worst customer service experience I have had. Not just while getting a massage but the worst service ever, period. Kie- you need to employ people who love what they do. Who cares for their customers. I pride myself on caring for others. It is obvious based on the small interactions with Mario, he doesn't enjoy what he is doing. Hire some one who cares for his clients. I suggest you promote Mario to "former" employee.

Only gave them 1 star because I had to. I am 100% NOT SATISFIED!! I received a first certificate from my boss for Christmas. Finally decided to cash it in so I made the appointment online on Thursday. I show up Monday for my appointment and she says they see no appointment under my profile and that There must have been a glitch in their system. First off, the fact that you can see the profile tells me that your system was working just fine. Now she’s telling me she has openings tomorrow. We’ll guess what…I have to work tomorrow!! That’s why I made the appointment for TODAY!!! I am so angry right now!! The ONLY reason I’m coming back is because the giftcard has already been paid for. I can promise you I will be leaving no tip and I will never be back again!! Soothing Sessions Massage Studio on Main Street in Lexington is the place to go!!!

My visit was phenomenal! The staff was very friendly and the inside waiting area is really nice, clean and they even had complimentary snacks. My massage therapist, camille was very pleasant, attentive, passionate and knowledgeable about her work. Her techniques provided me with instant relief & I could tell she takes pride in her work. Best massage I've had in a few year's. I told her what my problem areas were, and she went to work like a pro. If you're looking for an experienced therapist specializing in "deep pressure " come visit massage envy and ask for camille.
