This is not a walk in clinic, you have to schedule ahead and they are hooked 3 to 4 days ahead.

Absolutely atrocious this minute clinic had us scheduled for 1p for possible strep throat for my 11 year old son, the lady in the first office said we didn't have an appointment I then pulled up the confirmations I have via text and I have one via email with address and time/day attached. After showing this she said well I don't see it so nothing she can do while my son with a skin rash and strep throat is sitting behind me then she gets very rude and I don't remember the words but essentially it amounted to sucks to suck then as a resolution we had to wait an additional hour to be seen with a potentially contagious illness in a public area which was suggested by the provider that intervened in the conversation.

I assume I was dealing with the same “Sarah” that others are complaining about as well, but I didn’t see her name tag. Yesterday, as I was dealing with an allergic reaction on my eyes, I came in without an appointment. As it advertised walk ins, I didn’t know to make one but that was more on me. I also am aware that I came in right before closing, as it was the only chance I had that day. I knew I would probably not be seen and that was fine, I just felt that it didn’t hurt to ask. Well, evidently it must have hurt to ask this lady, as she essentially put me on blast in front of everyone there. She very loudly and very condescendingly explained (dumbed down, rather) to me (as If I didn’t already know) that the doctor would not make an exception and stay later for me and emphasized especially because I didn’t have an appointment, and “that’s just how it is” (her words). I understood the situation and she could have just politely refused me, but she instead chose to essentially berate me in front of others for not having an appointment. I understand not liking your job, but taking it out on people who need help is not professional or kind. My eyes were already red and swollen and just being there like that was embarrassing enough, on top of feeling bad, and her being loud enough to draw stares from everyone around made my day significantly worse. She continued on as I was trying to end it subtly and I was finally able to make my getaway. The experience was very jolting given my already bad condition, and I ended up crying in my car for about 10 minutes in the parking lot, thus making my eye rash worse. Will not be coming here again. The wait at Urgent Care is probably more worthwhile.

The ladies who works back there and very rude and unprofessional. One of the women asked me if I had an appointment and I said yes, but I couldn’t remember the time. She laughs in my face and says “how are you here if you don’t know when your appointment time is”. All she had to do was look up my information and she would have seen my appointment. I will not be coming back here. I was feeling sick and to come in a have to deal with unprofessionalism put a bad taste in my mouth. Please hire staff members who are friendly and empathetic.

The managers at this establishment should be able to accumulate enough staff so that patients aren’t showing up for scheduled appointment to closed signs with no notice. If a staff member calls out, there should at least be someone to notify so that they aren’t NPO for many hours to get expected, SCHEDULED bloodwork. If you didn’t treat your staff like rented mules, there would be staff to use.

My 5 year old daughter has been sick all weekend w/a 103 temp, so yesterday I scheduled an appointment with CVS Minute Clinic 121 Clemson Rd.Columbia SC 29229. My appointment was at 2:20 and I arrived late at 2:30. I was approached by one of the Minute Clinic workers and was asked "what I needed done?" I explained not sure what's going on with her may need Flu, Strep and Covid tests today to be sure. Young lady walks over to tell the NURSE PRACTITIONER (who's sitting halfway in her doorway with only her leg visible) the request and her response was "WHO WANT ALL THAT???" VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! I turned to my husband, and said "WE'RE STANDING RIGHT HERE!!!" Another lady comes over and says you're late ma'am....I said yes I know. She goes on to say you will have to reschedule. I said that's fine and I will with her PEDIATRICIAN tomorrow!!!! I don't know what's happening with BUSINESSES and their EMPLOYEES' PROFESSIONALISM????? I am so DONE with RUDE PEOPLE with JOBS!

I used the minute clinic about a month ago for a small issue, during the appointment the nurse practitioner said she would also renew a prescription for birth control. A month later, and I called CVS for a refill of the Rx, only to be told this was NOT done. Now I'm being told that I need to schedule another appt with the clinic just to have the practitioner write the prescription she said she would write for the initial appointment. What a waste of time!

Terrible wait times for walkins. It's best to schedule an appointment or be prepared to wait.

Today was my first experience with a Minute Clinic and it was a very good one. Sarah is knowledgeable, efficient, and very professional. Best of all, she is patient-oriented, providing clear explanations and instructions. I would definitely return.

I had a very pleasant experience with Sarah. She was very knowledgeable and thorough, asking good follow up questions to ensure she had a full understanding of my history. I would definitely go to see her again, if needed.
