Tried to order Euros for an upcoming trip, but was told it had to be in person. That would involve taking a 3 hour round trip on two consecutive days. Have been a PNC account holder for over 20 years, yet can’t be trusted.

If I could give this bank 0 stars I would. Since the hurricane hit we have had so much work having to be done. The insurance company puts the mortgage company name on the checks and we have to have them sign it. We called before going and they told us they could sign it in the branch and to make an appointment. We show up on time for our appointment, only to have to wait for a walk-in to be assisted. We finally were helped (after waiting 30 minutes) only to be told that they couldn't sign the check in the branch (we drove an hour and a half to this bank from home) and that the check would have to be mailed. You mail PNC Bank the check, they hold it in escrow for up to 3 weeks to get paperwork from you for their claim and then we have to follow up for it to get released. I have had my mortgage with them for almost 5 years. I have never been late for a payment, I pay early and make extra payments every month. I pray they sell my mortgage to someone else so I never have to deal with this bank again.
This branch specifically, in Columbia, SC where we had the appointment at 11am, called me at 11:55am to ask if we needed to reschedule our appointment. Because they had no idea we had been there already. Lack of communication, customer service and all around terrible banking. If you are reading this review and bank here, I suggest you go find a local community bank where people care.

I’ve had way too many issues with keeping up with my balance. I do not trust this bank. I have felt so many times that they have a way of manipulating their system and stealing money from people. I woke up to my account being $150 less than what it was when I went to sleep last night, and their excuse is pending transactions, but how can I have that many pending transactions when I check my mobile banking each time I make a purchase, and the payment is deducted at that time. I see this with my own two eyes, because I keep up with my spending. This bank needs to be investigated ASAP!!! Nobody can ever explain to me or make me understand why it seems I’m paying for things twice.

This is by all means the worst bank around!!! I walked in and saw three young ladies with no customers and still yet it took me over 20 minutes to see someone about replacing my lost debit card. A gentleman did come out to see if I was help and stated that he would get the young lady that needed to assist me. Altogether it was three bankers and two tellers with no customers and I had to wait an extended period of time to be serviced. When the lady finally came back out to the front she got me a new card, but didn’t verify any type of transactions for fraud. I do have some transactions that needs to be deleted but I’d rather go through the customer service number.

Run! This is the worst financial facility I’ve ever dealt with. Tried to payoff my car and they claimed they didn’t get the check. Had to stop payment and send another one via certified mail and they tried to claim they did not receive again. Had to speak to managers and have them track down the check that they signed for! They are a bunch of crooks!

I went to cash a check, not a very large amount, and ridiculously the bank told me that they don't have the money at that moment and that I have to come back another day, this is the third time I've tried.

The wait time is ridiculous. I have been waiting 1.5 hours for a debit pin reset (Takes less than 15mins) Hire more people or close the branch!!!!!
I will be changing banks.

I needed to pick up some statements and I misunderstood the hours. After driving two hours I arrived late. The employees were so kind and understanding and helped me any way. I really appreciate how considerate they were.

Twice I scheduled appointments and twice they make me wait over 20 minutes. When I asked if there was a good time to scheduled they answered "outside of lunch time". It's not that I showed up unannounced, I had a freaking appointment!! I shouldn't have to wait that long even if it's lunch time.

This is the worst place to bank. The people are not knowledgeable and rude. They always only have 1 teller and today when I went in, they were unable to get in the vault. NO CASH ACCESS!??! Apparently someone wasn't trained on how to lock up.

Going today to close all accounts! Banked here for 4 years and they will not ever answer the phone! Called service center over weekend go someone in the country of Columbia, South America, who could barely speak English and I couldn’t understand! Pitiful what our American companies have done to us!
