i have Multiple Slclerosis and rathe have my husband speak for. we told the phlebotomist Cindy this several times. instead, she ignored me and told my husband he needed to stop speaking. we have never had such an experience as this with quest diagnostics in the past. This quite possibly may have been the last time we will ever get lab work done at quest. Definitely the last time we will ever go to the location where Cindy works at the Walmart Killian Road in Columbia, South Carolina. USF is responsible for this charge yet Cindy the phlebotomist try telling us we still owe her $121. The lab was empty when we arrived and had no weight, which is usually a plus, but in this case it should’ve been a red flag. Clearly other people in the Columbia, South Carolina area avoid this location as well. We drove all the way from Sumter, South Carolina a 35 mile drive.

The woman drawing my blood today was super nice and personable. She was gentle and made the process easy and painless. I was also in and out in literally 10-15 minutes. I was also able to make my appointment without 24 hours notice which was also nice.

My experience was pleasant. I have always been told “you are a hard stick”, but Cindy didn’t have a problem drawing my blood. I didn’t notice the needle prick. It was quick and painless. The check in process was also user friendly, a kiosk. I look forward to my next visit.

Everyone there was so helpful and capable, and they saw both myself and my husband. It is the choice of places for us to go whenever we have blood work and we travel there from out of town in addition!

Ridiculous that in every Quest location, there is NOT a way to reach a real life person, period. Ridiculous not to offer this. No phone number for your local area. Everything done on-line…pathetic!

I have a lot of trepidation about getting my blood drawn but it proved to be useless this time. Angie was successful on the first try and didn't take forever to find a vein. She also had a personality that put me at ease. By far, the best experience that I've had in a long time.

Don't waste your time and money here. They only ran one of the two tests that was on my lab slip. When I tried contacting them to find out if the first test had been run and just wasn't back yet, it was ridiculously hard to get an answer. Then I got stuck with a bill because apparently they're out of network with BCBS?

The TV in the waiting room says “appointments take priority over walk-ins” but at this location you’re checked in as a walk in and the fact that I had an appointment is pointless. I was still put BEHIND the 7 people in the waiting room even though I had an appointment and I was here 10 minutes before that appointment time. The screen also shows how many are currently being served and the one below says “customers with scheduled appointments” and it shows 0. I know at least 2 of us had appointments. If you don’t honor appointments, don’t offer them! Do not recommend if you can avoid it, but they know they pretty much have you so, they don’t care.
