I like visiting this store. I can easily spend at least an hour looking at everything. I find the prices higher than expected but can easily find things marked down due to the length of time the item has been there. Seems they'd have more turn over if they originally priced starting at their mark down price...

I recently visited this store for the first time after hearing my grandmother rave about all the great finds she’s come across here. The store itself was okay — I ended up getting a glass pan and a set of cups. The cups had a printed tag saying they’d be reduced to around $5 after March, and even though I didn’t really need them, I thought, “Wow, what a great deal, can’t pass this up!” So I grabbed them.
But when I checked out, my total was close to $20 — way more than I expected, since the pan was supposed to just be $6. I asked the cashier about it, and she said the cups were actually $10 because of a single line of black marker on the tag that apparently indicated the “real” price in some way. I felt kind of hoodwinked. I mean, sure, it’s just a few bucks, but it’s the principle — I wouldn’t have grabbed them at all if I’d known they weren’t actually on their listed sale. When I tried to understand how that worked, the cashier just stared at me like I was being dramatic for asking.
Then she handed me all my items with no bag. When I asked, she told me they don’t give out plastic ones, but I could buy one. Which — okay, great for the environment — but why not mention that before the transaction? And during all of this, she was in the middle of a loud personal conversation with another employee and barely acknowledged me.
That said, the other workers I ran into on the floor were actually pretty friendly and helpful. My grandmother still insists I give it another shot because she’s found some real gems here, but personally, most of the items I saw weren’t my style or felt a bit overpriced for not just being used but the condition and quality of them in general. Maybe I just caught it on an off week.
Also worth noting — based on the owner’s responses to reviews online, they seem a bit combative and not super open to criticism, so... tread lightly.
TL;DR: Don't assume the printed price is the real price — if there's a mysterious black mark on the tag, it might be more at the register. Bring a reusable bag. And maybe check the energy before you commit to buying anything you don’t actually want.

I always find something unique and the items turn over quickly.
Recently a $0.25 charge to get a bag to carry out purchases was implemented. If you have a agenda, then you should fund it, not ask your customers to fund it. The bags do not cost $0.25.

When consigning always get an inspection date. When I consign they always take all my items. I bring items that I would want but can’t keep bc I out grew. Items that are old or worn out I toss them. But I chose once to do a drop off wrong idea. They didn’t post any of my items on my account so that means they were donated or maybe they put them out but didn’t give me no credit if they sold them. It’s an easy way for them to be dishonest and steal your items. The best way to deal with them is get you an appointment so you can make sure what they take they will put on your account. I wish they would quote you a price upfront and pay you forward then it would lead to no mistakes.

The consignment process I don’t have a problem. But my daughter was sitting on a couch waiting for me meanwhile there’s ppl all through the store sitting on couches or chairs. My daughter been sitting there for about 7 min when this worker starts talking to my daughter about she couldn’t sit there not knowing that I was around the corner watching and so I just told my daughter to come by me. Not 5 min later a Hispanic/white ppl came and sat down on the same couch do you think she came by and told them to get up? No. Did she go around telling grown folks to get up? No. I don’t know if it was bc my daughter was black and/or a child she only approached mine but she definitely should be careful bc the next person could cause a scene.
RESPONSE: the seat my daughter was sitting on didn’t have a sign that said don’t sit on. Also the worker didn’t mention to sit somewhere else. There also another person sitting on a couch close by where she was sitting on. And they didn’t say nothing to that white person. I was standing around my daughter and nothing was said but when I stepped away she said something to her. Y’all need to train workers to be fair with everyone and also don’t speak or address a child . Bc she didn’t say nothing when I was around. Again I could have made a scene but I didn’t the next customer might not be as nice.

Purchased some items from this store on 5/9/2025. Two of the items were broken or parts missing. This store needs to start a very thorough check in for products if they are going to have a 100% no return policy. Bought a desk lamp; in it's box all wrapped in plastic. When I got home and unwrapped it to put it on my desk the neck part of it was snapped off from the base of the light. The 2nd item purchased was a No Gravity bike holder. It's missing the two main poles to give it the height to hang two bikes, can not be used without the two main poles it's useless. In the future if I can't see the whole item I will not purchase from this store again.

It was super nice everything has it's place on order clean and systematically. High quality staff very nice and helpful. I would give 5 more stars if I could definitely go check it out price's varied super clean and awesome staff go check it out you're missing out
