I dropped off 3 large bags of new stuffed animal toys for the kids at Christmas. Greeted by a nice receptionist who thanked me and took the toys back to storage.

I attendant the salvation army In Springfield,Massachusetts and they help me put my life back together. Now I live in the greater Columbia, South Carolina. I take care of my 80 year old mother.

I've called the appointment line right at 9am, recorded my info. Called Friday to see if I made the list. I was told I didn't. It pissed me off because, I've called on time. I get the fact, they have to serve other counties, but it's the fact that, I called on time & I need assistance. I truly don't like how the system is set up. I'll never use this agency anymore.

Not helpful at all the social worker is never available the lady answering the phone never knows anything she'll transfer your call only to end up at multiple voicemails

On 7/28/23 My experience with the staff members on farrow Rd That’s very unbelievable. I bought a client here. Her name is Latonia Walker I was her voice I bought in the paperwork that was required for the website and she was still refused service Buy two of your employees Ms Davis and Pearson they refused because it wasn’t a date on the letterhead paper and they didn’t understand why Housing authorities could write the lLeader head The website doesn’t specify whom to write As long as the agency that writes can provide the clients in need of the assistance And they said they have every right to refuse service to clients and it’s sadnesses me because this grandmother/ client was only trying to provide a meal clothing household items furniture from services that’s telling the community they are helping people like Ms Walker and I witnessed her care taker leave with out a piece bread are a can good Staff members, social workers, unprofessional and unkind to these people that are reaching out for assistance and remind the client Walker hasn’t been served since 2019 And she’s disabled. She walks on a push Rollator I am a midlands donor I will be thinking twice before donate to this Agency ever again,

I appreciate what the salvation army does for the community they are very helpful mindful people. You have different places to help when you fall short but don't continue to stay in that rut

Was scheduled an appointment for utility assistance. I was a few minutes late and they would not see me. It took years to get help because they have this voice mail assistance line smh o give up I think they are using the money for there own needs. God will make a way.

Everything they sell is given to them. I donated two large bags if new clothes before going. Less than pleased with the experience.
