I visited SC Federal Credit Union on July 5th & July 6th and I had a great experience on both days. I normally don’t have to make a visit to a bank, unless something is wrong. With great assistance from the first teller to then, having great conversation and playing catch up with the amazing Branch Manager Jamila. Ms. Jamila was able to assist me with my account and get me back on track. I love to visit this branch location for one the Customer is amazing, two they make you feel very welcomed, and three they know everyone, which is a plus in my book. Well, I had to go to visit the bank on the next day and Shi the new awesome new teller (to that location) was able to not only assist me, but she went above and beyond her job duties and I mean above and beyond. Shi even broke out in a sweat doing it. We also got our steps in together. Shi also was able to get me a new and working debit card. Shi needs a Gold Star for providing such excellent customer and with a smile. This is what 3 times a charm looks like and Shi did her thing! Thank you sooo much to Jamila & Shi for exceeded my expectations, because I was going to leave this Credit Union, but I decided to stay. This is one happy customer smiling.

The message I sent corporate: "YOUR IT, APP AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORSE! TRYING TO MAKE PAYMENT- PAY OFF PAYMENT- WHAT BANK CAN'T TAKE A PAYMENT??!! This is an unbelievable experience. I am 2 hours from a branch, I have spent the last hour trying to pay off my loan. Online, I had to ask it repeatedly to text or call me a number to verify me to make the payment. I finally receive the code and it said "payment amount exceeds the daily limit of an external transfer". Then, I tried calling in to pay by phone and they refused to take the payment BECAUSE THE CSR SAID I DID NOT SOUND LIKE A MAN! I verified my social, my account number, my DOB and my address and previous address flawlessly and she accused me of not being a man and said she would not take my payment that I would have to travel 2 hours to a branch to pay off my loan!!!! Your algorithm should be deciding my gender (Account #, SS#, DOB# Address, etc), not the assumptions and judgements of your CSRs. ALL OF THIS OVER MAKING A PAYMENT??!! SCFEDCU's archaic IT and customer service has been horrible for all 3 years. I want to pay-off ASAP and never deal with you again."

Great Credit Union. Cassandra was awesome. She was so helpful and thoroughly answered all of my questions. The process for my auto loan was so quick and painless it was unreal. Will definitely go to Cassandra for all of my banking needs going forward.

Very Poor service!! Had to go into the branch twice and call the customer service line 3 times. The staff needs training on first call resolution. Added a checking account, was told my old card was linked to the account. Not!! Went In a second time for another card. Told me all was fine to use, NOT! Had to call and needed activation, then called another number. Hope it works this time. Poor SERVICE!!
