Well where to start. I experienced the most horrendous customer service from my own bank, it wasn't my own branch, but would never, ever expect this kind of service. I've been a Synovius bank customer almost 2 yrs. I tried to get a cash advance from a NetSpend prepaid Visa card. The teller I selected was clearly overwhelmed by my my request. She just didn't know how to perform this service. Ms. Earle was her name, God bless her. She proceeded with the transaction but then said she would hv to reverse it as my name was not on the temporary card. I had my license and my Synovius debit cards as I'd. She then proceeded to reverse the transaction, which now holds all the money up 3-5 days. I asked her why she didn't read the card prior to the transaction. She just got mad at me. The branch, Mgr. Brian Colclogh wouldn't even get off, what sounded like a personal phone call, as I stood 10 min by his office door, to even spk with me. Thy all seemed really angry at me. All I wanted was for my bank to help me. There's a Customer Covenant sign on the wall. It's all talk, Thy DO NOT care for customers, at this branch. The mgr finally came out of his office when I returned to get proof of my reversal. Ms. Earle didn't want to give that to me as it seems it requires effort on her part. I finally received it and left. I'm closing my acct soon. Will never go back. People beware of Garners Ferry branch of Synovous. Thy all need more interpersonal skills training, as well as basic banking 101. Learn the equipment please! In closing, I hope this review is read by Synovous administration, but I feel it will not, as all I am is an account number. I was a mortgage loan officer 5 yrs. I know basic banking 101.
