I visited this clothing store for the first time today, and I have to say the store itself was great. There’s a huge variety of clothes, and they offer amazing deals on some really good brands. I was excited to check it out, but unfortunately, my experience was spoiled by very disappointing customer service at the checkout.
The lady at the register, Janice (as her badge said), didn’t greet me when I approached, didn’t ask if I had a loyalty card or if I wanted to sign up, and didn’t say a word during the transaction. I always try to be polite, so I said hello and wished her a good night when I was done, but again, she didn’t even look at me or say anything in return.
What made it worse was that my roommate, who’s American, was treated very differently. She was greeted, asked if she found everything okay, and was offered the loyalty card. It felt like I was being completely ignored and treated unfairly, and I couldn’t help but feel like it had something to do with my background. It was very upsetting, and I’m truly disappointed. I hope the store addresses this issue because it really impacted my experience, and I’m not sure I’d return after this.

The young lady who checked me out was a loud person!! I understand some folks are just loud speakers, but it was annoying. She was trying to help another employee and their customers at the same time as me, instead of just completing my transaction and then helping the employee. She didn't even offer me a TJ Maxx credit account! The garbage outside was overflowing. In the future, I'll avoid this location.

I always find something unique and nice at T.J. Maxx. I love checking them out for food or cooking items mostly but the furniture items are good. Great prices and clean store.

Great selection of gourmet food items, name brand clothing, luggage,linen, shoes, and accessories at great prices! Checkout is quick, even when the store is packed. I come here to get gifts for family and friends and will usually find something for everyone! The place is usually kept neat and organized by the management and staff, unlike other places like Ross or Burlington .

Million rolls of wrapping paper, no tape, lady there told me to walk down to Home Goods, guess what lady, no tape there either. Did grab two small gifts, but not what I needed at the time. Now I here you have tape, lol
