Uhaul on Fernandina Road is an older facility where responsibility is totally lost. Having rented an RV space, for over two years, the roof leaked and was never repaired after repeated requests, and they park vehicles and trailers all over the place in undesignated parking spaces causing travel issues. I once clipped a trailer tongue with my tire and tore my tire. The trailer tongue was on the ground and sticking out into the lane, and along with another trailer in an undesignated space which caused the travel lane to be squeezed, I never saw the trailer tongue until after I heard air coming from my tire. Uhaul refused responsibility for the incident, as did their insurance company. Vagrants were hanging around behind the storage building (at the rear of the lot) which was concerning and was treated as no big deal. Safety was a concern when at that unit. I relocated to another company facility when the price continued hiking to an unreasonable cost. Definitely not recommended as a choice facility.

I picked up 4 bags of moving blankets on Tuesday October 1st. When I went to return them on Wednesday October 2nd the store location was CLOSED. Until returning then the next day on October 3rd they attempted to charge me for 3 days when they were closed the day I brought them back. Second the lady inside told me there is a FEE if the blankets are not FOLDED when I brought the blankets back. I have rented from uhaul for years and have NEVER heard anything like that. Not the mention she was just sitting there on her phone doing nothing. Don't you pay your employees to fold the blankets and get them ready for the next customer? Why should the customer have to fold them so the employee doesn't have to do any work or PAY A FEE???? MAKE NO SENSE

Of all my years of using your company this employee was the first to show racism, disrespectful lacking of customer service skills, rude and lied about your company's policies, as I advise that the access keys were returned to the Dropbox lied about them not being in the box EVENTHOUGH your property has 24hour surveillance .(SAD)

Bro, 5 stars isn't a high enough rating. Emily Duheme was nothing short of amazing. I've had a horrible experience moving to Columbia, SC with regards to realtors, property managers, school district HR, etc. and she able to be a bright spot to all of it. When I was expecting more bumps in the road and more things to go bad/wrong, she did just the opposite and helped me out. She was very accommodating and even changed my drop off location to a closer one. The saying "it is not how you start, but how you finish" couldn't be truer with my experience. She was the light at the end of the tunnel... and to my surprise, she wasn't the train. lol. She works hard and definitely takes pride in her work, has a passion for helping people, she's a great communicator, and was understanding and willing to work with my unique and hectic situation. If I ever move and need to use a Uhaul again, I know which location I'm heading to and who's getting my business. In this day and age, you can't pay enough for a quality employee like her. I know a few real estate companies and HR departments that could use her work ethic and a quality employee like her.

Great service and clean and reliable equipment. The employees are super friendly and accommodating. The process was efficient from start to finish! Definitely recommend this location.

Never have I in my life been charge for cigarette smoke in a truck. No problem. Just beware. Go to other uhauls. 25$. Feels like a money grab. I had that truck spotless.
