Woman who works front counter is rude every time i go into this facility

My Experience today, January 8 of 2024. The woman in the front treated me like a suspicious person who could be mailing a bomb because I did not wanna put a return address. Talking very loudly, and putting me down in front of many other customers, making me feel inferior and embarrassed. She even denied me from mailing my box unless I put a return address, however, I was told later by the experts over the phone that she was completely wrong.Always been a very rude person.

Read previous reviews and dreaded coming in, but the service I received today with Ms. Jackson and the clerk were top notch. They helped me resolve an issue and showed sincere concern with assisting. Very appreciative of postal professionals who care.

Brand new credit card machines, super friendly postal worker, no complaints about this post office at all!Their lunch hours are wonky tho- come early or afternoon.

I mailed a letter to my boyfriend I certified it 2 weeks ago so it could get to him , tracking number says “ready for pickup” I wanted it delivered he’s in basic training for the army and can’t leave to pick up the letter. I’ve been certifying my letters and he has received all of them except this one it’s been sitting at this post office for 1 week now. All I really want is just for it to be delivered to the destination. If someone can reach out and help me with that?

This post office needs to replace ALL of the rude, uncaring, nasty personnel. Our military soldiers should not have to endure the rudest people on the planet. My husband said it was the worst he has ever been treated in his life to include dealing with enemies in war. They made him wait over an hour for a simple package they kept taunting him about saying they didn't have to give it him. Then they proceeded to go in the back and laugh and talk about teaching him a lesson and making him wait. Then another soldier came in and they had lost a money order he had sent back home three weeks ago and kept saying it couldn't be at their post office, but the tracking number (which they had lost) said otherwise. Mean, nasty, cruel women that need to find a new job and stop torturing the patrons of Fort Jackson. This IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. Appalling!!!!

Very rude staff, except Kim (very nice). bad attitudes, sorry facility to do business with. The lady I spoke to on my first visit was very arrogant and disrespectful. My next visit was Kim, very nice person. The manager of that facility needs to be fired or retired.

Something needs to change with his USPS site immediately. We rarely if every get our mail and packages on time. We've had packages that have tracking number that get labeled as delivered but never actually gets delivered. The staff have proven to be lazy and incompetent in their ability to act as USPS workers. When issues are brought up to staff they become incredibly rude. Someone beyond the Fort Jackson/Columbia area USPS management needs to get involved and get these issues fixed and change out the staff to people who not only know how to do the job but are willing to actually do the job because the current staff do not belong in the business of handling peoples mail.

The day of my visit I came at lunch time (12:00). The clerk was doing a computer update during that time, meaning no one can be serve, plus this post office is closed from 13:00 to 14:30.

Staff here is unreasonably rude, disrespectful, and lack basic customer service skills. On multiple occasions the employees have bad, nasty attitudes with customers. They drag their feet in each task, making everyone else in line wait unnecessarily.

Why can’t they just get out of the car to drop off a package at your door?? How is it “delivery” to hold a package for pickup? Why can’t anyone just do their jobs anymore?

I have only used this branch on occasion when I am on post, but the few times I have been there I have always had a good experience and found whoever is working to be polite and helpful.

There's always an issue with my packages being scanned and go missing. I have stopped going there for package drop off. The staff is rude and very unhelpful.
