The pharmacy staff at Walgreens are the rudest grouping of individuals I have ever had the displeasure of encountering. I don’t know how they managed to find people so miserable to deal with. Every time I go in there they are unprofessional and rude. I have even seen them yell at elderly customers. I’ve never had a problem at other Walgreens locations. Please fix the attitude problem!

SAMANTHA should not be working in the pharmacy. She rolls her eyes, she insults customers, she hangs up the phone on you when you call and ask about a prescription. Please, please management address this. I will be following up with your corporate office about THAT employee.

The whole pharmacy is so unprofessional and needs to learn customer service. I should not have an issue picking up my prescription every single time. They roll their eyes at you and look like they hate being there.

I walked in today to pick up a prescription but the pharmacy was closed even though it said open on the website. The manager chris at this location overheard me calling my doctor to send the prescriptions elsewhere, and he assured me that I can go to another location to get them. This was also the second time that chris has helped me with printing and choosing the correct sized photos. He was just so helpful and kind. Even went out of his way to get me coupon. If there’s anything this store could do to reward his efforts, it should be done! It’s not often that I find myself actually getting around to writing reviews but he certainly deserved it!!

This review is from an experience from earlier this year. Several months ago my current doctor at Prisma Health Family Medicine in Lexington prescribed the medication metoprolol for me. My sitting heart rate before taking the medication was in the 90s. After taking it for 30 days it is in the 60s.What happens if you suddenly stop taking metoprolol?"You may experience worst chest pain, a jump in blood pressure or even have a heart attack."So, here's the story. Earlier this year I called and left a message with the doctor regarding this prescription. Never got a call back. They stopped returning phone calls several months ago. I've had challenges with them before, and I think it's because they know that I save their recordings that they leave me. I went to the pharmacist and asked if the prescription had been filled, and they said that it had not. It was due. The pharmacist told me that she had called it in. I told them that I would call my doctor again and come back the next day. The pharmacist said she would call it in again. I came back the next day and it still wasn't filled. I asked the pharmacist"What do I do in a situation like this? This is not the first problem that I've had with this doctor, however it is by far the worst.""I'm going to give you a 3-day supply".So, five stars for sure, and thank you so much.I'm going to come back and edit this review adding the pharmacist's names if they are okay with it, along with documentation supporting it.(Because of this experience and previous experiences with my current doctor, I break my metoprolol in half, and take half a day.)John "Kip" Werts

Had some issues with photos. Took some time, but the team over at this location helped me get the pictures I thought were a total loss. Great customer service.

I will never use this pharmacy ever again. Every time I come here I get disrespected. I was here picking up my medicine and the wait was over an hour after I was told 15 min. This is the worst pharmacy ever.

Can't refill my ADHD meds because they have a new inventory system?Kinda a joke, I don't see how that is my problem. CVS down the street has all meds I need, should have switched a long time ago.

Trips to CVS used to ruin my entire day. Since I started coming here, I have not had a bad experience. The store staff are always welcoming and helpful. The pharmacy is also excellent, and always promptly fills my prescriptions. The pharmacists are kind, respectful, and do their best to help you. Thank you 5 Points Walgreens!

EDIT: I posted the following review on Friday February 25. It is now March 16th, and I have come to find the review is no longer here. I've done my best to repost the original review as follows:I went to this pharmacy this past Tuesday to get antibiotics for an gnarly UTI caused by an enlarged prostate. Symptoms were/are very bad, and I had to miss work from Wednesday on. Included in the symptoms were/are back pain which has been getting exponentially worse. All of my test results/cultures were still being processed, and I got a voicemail from my doctor's office this afternoon stating that they were switching me to another antibiotic and a steroid. This is the Walgreens close to where I work, however I live quite a distance away. This Walgreens pharmacy closes at 5:00 p.m. today and is not open again until Monday at 9:00 a.m. I don't have transportation and it is very difficult to walk just a short distance in my current condition. I spoke with Casey in reference to getting my prescriptions switched to another Walgreens which is right up the street from me (closes at 9:00 p.m.). She told me that would not be a problem; I would just need to call the Walgreens where I wanted my prescription to go to get them to transfer it. I attempted to do so, however the other Walgreens never answered the phone. I was on the automated hold at first which stated there were two callers ahead of me, then one, and then, during the wait, the background music changed to a different type of music with no verbal dialogue. This lasted a while and then it was switched to where the phone would go back to ringing back in. This happened two or three times until it got to the point to where someone disconnected the line. 18 minutes had passed (I took screenshots of this call however there's no option to upload them in reviews here). I tried again and after waiting 14 minutes I disconnected the call myself this time. I have to get these medications so I don't miss more work next week (or conk out ?). I called this Walgreens back again and spoke with Casey, and explained her the situation, and she asked if she could put me on hold so she can run it by her pharmacist. She came back to me after a minute or two and told me that her pharmacist was going to call them using their direct line, and asked me to wait a little longer. She came back and told me that everything was taken care of and the prescription will be at the Walgreens closest to me. I politely asked her name, and she said that her name is Casey and her pharmacist's name is Christian.I'm not going to do a review on the other Walgreens, however Casey and Christian are well deserving of this five star review. Casey was extremely polite and reassuring.Thank you Casey and Christian!

I would rather get a papsmear than go to this pharmacy. The good news is you will never have to wait in line because no one else wants to come here. The bad news is that when they say it'll be fifteen minutes, they really mean over an hour. The worse news is that their hours are inconsistent and terrible, so if you happen to NEED your medication, I hope your life doesn't depend on it.
