If I could leave a negative number of stars I would. My boyfriend took our son there on Friday because he was sick and had a fever. They diagnosed him with a double ear infection. We took him to our specialist in Charleston for his follow up visit and there was no sign of an ear infection. I might add that he had no drainage (which he should have if he actually did have an ear infection). They at the cvs minute clinic gave him ear drops and antibiotics and they were completely unnecessary because there was actually no ear infections at all. A complete misdiagnosis but how would that have happened? Usually with an ear infection, it is clear when you look in the ears if you are a licensed nurse practitioner. We will never go to this place again!

My daughter, a freshman at CCU, saw Carlett Jethroe, NP on 8/28/23 for tonsillitis and a double ear infection. The night before she took a dose of tylenol and NyQuil, which also contains acetaminophen and when she woke up that morning she took another dose of acetaminophen. The max dose in 24 hours is 3,000mg and she was at 2,650mg. Olivia started to have nausea and vomiting so I told her when she arrived at the clinic to tell the provider how much acetaminophen she had taken because I was concerned that she had taken too much. I also called the Minute Clinic while Olivia was in the room I spoke to the NP and told her when and how much acetaminophen Olivia had taken and that in addition to her cold symptoms, I was concerned that she had taken too much acetaminophen. So her discharge instructions for Olivia was to go back to the dorm and alternate acetaminophen and ibuprofen. The d/c instructions told her in 7 different places to take more acetaminophen. At 4p that day Olivia took another dose which put her at 3,650mg within 6 hours. I had her go to the CCU clinic the next morning where her urinalysis showed high ketones due to the overdose of acetaminophen. On 8/31 CVS told me a site supervisor would call me in 3-5 business days to discuss my complaint. I'm still waiting for a call on 9/22/23.

my experience with Beverly the nurse practitioner was awesome. my needs for shots was several at one appointment and she was wonderful. she took her time explaining to me the needs for each one and the costs and so forth. very tentative. didn't have to wait. as a matter of fact i probably ate into some of her lunch time and she didn't mind at all. great experience CVS!!!!

The whole apt with the nurse practioner was pointless went in for an on going cough. Reports of wheezing and sob at times. I told her I recently took cough medication so she may not hear wheezing currently however at night I can barely lay down with out coughing wheezing SOB even after use of my inhaler etc. Coughing up green mucus at times. Well she basically said use OTC medication and still present in a week go to urgent care. No cough medicine or syrup or a simple Z pac. Did nothing for me, gave me my discharge papers and I left. Once with started reading in the car. Stated to start taking mucinex and using my inhaler "correctly" never once did she mention either of those suggestions or mucinexspecifically. My inhaler is PRN albuterol thats it. Just save your time and go to a urgent care or try a different CVS.

Definitely not a “minute” clinic. When I arrived there was 1 individual in line before me, wait time listed at 36 minutes. I was told by the doctor it was fine for me to wait in my car and I would be notified when it was my turn. Nope, just skipped me. 1.5 hrs later I am still waiting being skipped over because I chose not to sit in the waiting area for the extended wait, which the doctor said I could do. Not doing this again.

Waited hours to be seen, I have been sick for a week, sickest I have been sense I was 13 and I’m 24 now. The nurse was extremely rude to me because my blood pressure was higher than normal as if that’s my fault, and when she found out I didn’t have the flu she told me to get delsym (dextromethorphan) and I literally told her I have been taking NyQuil and DayQuil which both are practically the same thing just with an extra medication added. I asked, do you think I need an antibiotic, she the replied saying “if you still feel sick in a couple days come back” I’ve already been sick for a week, if it gets any worse I might have to go to the hospital, this place is a scam. I paid $105 for a waste of my time

I FEEL SCAMMED. I went in to minute clinic because i didn't feel my concern was worth going to doctors car for. I've pulled muscles and and had in flamed tendons before and have had doc's prescribed me anti-inflmatory medications. So I thought this might be quicker and easier. But I was very wrong and disappointed that not only would they not perscibe me any meds but couldn't even diagnose my symptoms..WOW..and advised me to go to doc's care. After 15 minutes and $140 I was out of there. After I secured my own meds 2 days later I was back to work again and good to go...DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY...

If you’re a college student the nurses that see you won’t take you seriously. They charged me $68 for a visit. I walked in and said “I think I have the flu” I told her all of my symptoms. The only thing she did was take my temperature, blood pressure, and looked in my ears/throat. (She DIDNT swab me for flu). she said “I think you do have flu” (Again without swabbing me so it could just be a bad cold ) and she said she would give me something for it. I asked for tamaflu, she said “we don’t carry that”. Minute clinic is NOT apart of CVS pharmacy so they don’t carry anything. She instead prescribed me a $100 (with insurance) new flu medicine (again without swabbing me) along with a cough medicine (I don’t have a cough) and promptly shuffled me out of the office. I contacted the company to file a complaint as well. I feel scammed by this whole experience.

Mike , the Pharmacist has an anti opiate agenda. He will make you feel like you are a drug addict for getting the pain medications that you need for your chronic pain. He will make it as difficult as possible to get your medications. I think he failed to get into medical school and now is taking it out on the patients. I would avoid this pharmacy at all costs if I were you. You will get treated better at any other pharmacy. Mike if you don't like your job then quit. I wonder how the pharmacy board will feel about how you treat people.
