“I have been taking my 2008 F-150 to AAMCO Transmission and Total Car Care in Conway, South Carolina for several years, and the experience has consistently been excellent. The owner, Steve, has always been straightforward, knowledgeable, and fair in his approach to repairs.
Recently, I had an issue with my cooling fan clutch staying on. This was a part that had actually been replaced about three years ago during a timing and gasket service on my engine. Even though the part was well out of warranty, Steve chose to replace the cooling fan clutch again and did not charge me any labor for the repair. Essentially, he handled the job at no cost to me.
That kind of integrity and customer care is rare these days. It’s refreshing to find a shop that stands behind its work and values long-term customer relationships over short-term profit. It reminds me of the way businesses used to operate—honest, reliable, and focused on doing right by the customer.
